T (Counting the money): Hm..let's see..$214.00! Not bad!

N: Don't forget Tootie..you gotta split that up between ALL of us.

T: Aw man Nat! I was on a roll!

B (Walks in): Tootie are you sure your counting the money correctly?

T: Of course Blair..what makes you think I'm not?

B: The last time you counted the money the amount was a hundred dollars under what it was suppose to be.

T: Well everyone makes mistakes!

B: Anyways..have you guys seen Jo?

N: Not me.

T: The last time I saw her she went off on her motorycycle to visit her dad.

B: Oh ok.

(Someone knocks on the door)


B: I'll get it. (Walks to the door and opens it. There is a police officer.)

B: Um..can I help you?

PO: Yes..do any of you ladies know Jo Polinick?

B: Yes..we do..why?

PO: She was in a motorycle accident.

N: What?!

PO: She is in acoma.

B: Oh my god..

PO: We need one of you to come with me to the hospital.

B: Well I guess I will go.

(The Police Officer and Blair get into the police car and drive off)

Ok..I'm back! Here's the rest of the story "The Secret"

(Blair and the Police Officer arrive in the hospital.)

PO: Wait in the waiting room mam. The nurse will let you see Jo when she wakes up.

B: Ok..thanks.

(About 2 hours pass and the Nurse says Blair can visit Jo)

B (Walks in Jo's room): Jo?

J (Very weakly): What is it?

B: Are you alright?

J: Does it look like I am?

B: Um..not really

J: Well theres your answer!

B: How did this happen?

J: You don't wanna know. You will probably blob it out to the others.

B: No I won't Jo.

J: Your promsie?

B: Yes I promise.

J: Ok..here goes. I visited my dad and he said he went bankrupt. All our money is gone. He said we couldn't afford to send me to college anymore so I gotta drop out. I just couldn't concentrate on anything else but that on the way home..and I crashed.

B: Jo..I'm sorry..Is there anything I can do to help?

J: No..but thanks.

Nurse: Visiting hours are almost over!

B: Well I better be going..I hope you feel better. (She walks out of the room)

(Blair arrives at house)

MG: Blair..I heard about Jo..is she alright?

B: Yes..She woke up and shes fine.

MG: Oh..I'm glad.

B (Walks into the kitchen where everyone is): Guys..Jo is fine. She just needs some rest. She should be home within three to five weeks..well at least that is what the nurse told me. (Phone rings)

N: I will get it. (Answers phone) Hello? No..Jo isn't here. Whose this? Oh my god..well thank you for telling us (Slams phone down.) Jo's father has to move out of his house right away..there is no more money to pay for it.

MG: Oh dear..

Blair: I can't let this happen. I have to do something now. (Leaves the house)

Ok I am REALLY tired..What do you think will happen so far? How do you like it?

(Blair drives fast in her car until she gets to Jo's Dad's home.)

MP: I gotta give up the home..I have 24 hours to buy it back. I dunno what I am gonna do!

B: Alright..this is it. (Pulls out her check book and writes a check for 45,000 dollars) This is for you. I am planning to give one to Jo for college. I can't bare to see my best friend like this.

MP: Blair...I dunno what to say...

B: You don't have to say anything. All you have to do is cash in this check and you got your house back.

MP: T-t-thank you.

B: Your welcome.

(2 more weeks pass and Jo is released from the hospital)

B: Jo..you still sleeping on the couch?

J: No. I heard what you gave my dad for the house.

B: I have something else. (Hands another check for 45,00 dollars.) This should get you back in college. And your welcome. (Winks and they hug)

I didn't like it that much...i mean, it shows good potential...and i realise that it was written over a year ago, but i was just browsing through the fan. fics and thought I would make a comment incase anyother one read this one anytime soon. It was way to rushed...that wasn't enough detail showing their emotions...I mean, when Blair visited Jo it had absolutley noe moints...you should of described them better...plus, they were WAY out of character...Jo would of NEVER accepted that Money, and I don't think her day would have either. Good idea though.

Umm... She's not here anymore. (No, TJ, I'm not saying anything else, so don't worry.)
