They're having yet another unannounced Stale Prince marathon this week. I actually thought they would hold off for a while. Someone there must have an addiction to it

We shouldn't be so harsh on NAN. After all it's been one entire month without airing a Fresh Prince marathon-LOL. It must be a record

Oh come on! What is the purpose of this marathon now??? Is it the 17th anniversary or something? Possibly the 18th? Did Will Smith get married again? It seems like they throw a Fresh Prince event for every little thing.

I thought with Home Improvement coming, it would take over the spot of Fresh Prince with having marathons every other week, which I wouldn't like, but would still prefer more than FP, but looks like that isn't happening too soon.

Are Home Improvement and George Lopez doing well in the ratings? It seems like everytime they have a show that doesn't do well they have a Fresh Prince marathon. Like when Full House was not doing well with their marathon they took it off and put on FP in it's place. Who is watching this show to make it do so well?

Home Improvement are still on in prime time this week. Home Improvement gets a marathon next week. I guess they're going to have a marathon of some show if ratings are too low for their tastes.

Long gone are the good days of N@N... when you had true classics on at night. Laugh-in, I Love Lucy, Here's Lucy, and so many others. Now it's just the "What Was Hot Ten Years Ago" network.

I don't watch N@N anymore. The FPofBA is FAR from Fresh.

I simply can't understand why this crap is still on the air. Where's the market research???

That is the million dollar question. We did ask that question in a thread and I believe it was Solomon who provided the numbers for us. It was astonishing that so many people (apparently NOT SitcomsOnline members  ) were in fact watching Fresh Prince! :faint: I seriously want to know who can love that show so damn much that they can see it over and over and over and over and over and over again! That damn show is on 24-7-365 days a year.

How long has FP been on N@N?

Also, how can N@N know if other shows won't do well UNLESS THEY TRY AND GIVE THEM SOME AIRTIME?

And for longer than one week. TV Land is the same way. I stopped watching both of them a long time ago.

Exactly! Give some shows some decent airtime!

I've probably watched TVLand twice in a period of about one year.

as for N@N... I don't even remember when I watched that last

I'm pretty sure it came to Nick at Nite in September 2004.

Yeah, it was September 2004. That's why I said it's probably the anniversary of the first time Fresh Prince aired on NAN-LOL. I remember . . . they had that week long marathon (the only show since then to not have it's marathon cut short), and we've been getting more and more of them ever since.

BTW, according to Link at the TVland boards, NAN is airing a Fresh Prince marathon because of "sweeps week" Monday-Thursday.

I agree with you guys. I like the show, but its WAY overplayed and i'm so sick of it now. I mean for every event they always have a FP marathon and not a marathon of another show. I actually think I like the shows more on TVLand than Nick at Nite. I think I watch TVLand more than N@N. Mainly I just watch tapes or dvds of the shows I like because they aren't on tv. FP has been on N@N since 2004? It doesn't seem like its been that long. I wish that WTB? was still on N@N because it wasn't as cut up on there(but that's another story)

I know! I am tired of it. Over and over and over. Week in and week out. If it's not on N@N it's on The N or TBS
