Bonnie Franklin was cute in this show, I had the hots for her back in those days. The guy who played the janitor was mildly amusing, I didn't care for MacKenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli is so-so. The women who perform the theme song sing it with an annoying New York/east coast accent, it is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

The main reason to watch One Day At A Time is Bonnie Franklin. She's cute as a button, and it's funny in one of the early episodes when her male friend tells her she has a nice "tush". I guess they weren't allowed yet to say "ass" on TV in 1975. :lol:
