I just finished watching the ep "Take Two Aspirins and a Half Pint of Porpoise's Milk" ( Season#2 Ep #6) and it made me think of this thread. In this ep, Sam get's quite ill and her powers derailed when she comes into contact with a black peruvian rose.

What are some other eps /situations where a witch or group of witches either lose their powers or have their powers severely affected--either through illness or punishment.

Sam and Endora both lose their powers in Season 4 - Sam in "No Zip in My Zap" and Endora in "Allergic to Ancient Macedonian Dodo Birds". Sam, Serena and Uncle Arthur are stripped of their powers by the Witches Council in the Season 5 episode "Samantha's Power Failure".

There's the episode in season 6 where there is a vapor lock on Sam and Darrin's house. Whover pops in can't pop out.
