While Ricardo vs. Mertz was one reoccuring theme, Men vs. Women was even more widely used. I'll name some; I think there are at least 12 episodes with that theme. What are some others?

"The Girls Want to Go to a Nightclub"- The boys want to go to the fights on the Mertz' anniversary, the girls want to go to a nightclub.

"The Gossip"- The boys bet the girls they can keep from gossiping longer.

"Changing the Boys' Wardrobe"- The girls get rid of the boys' ratty clothes and the boys retaliate.

"Job Switching"- The foursome bet they can switch places and they all fail.

"Vacation From Marriage"- Feeling they are in a rut, the girls go on a "vacation" to the Mertz' apartment.

"The Golf Game"- The boys teach the girls a complicated game of golf to discourage them from tagging along.

"Deep Sea Fishing"- The bet is on to see who could catch the biggest fish, men vs. women.

Men Are Messy - Lucy gets mad at Ricky for messing up the apartment and ends up dividing it in half.

How about the Paris fashions episode? Ethel helps Lucy put on her 'hunger strike' act, then Ricky and Fred arrange to have the potato sacks made into dresses that will be "next year's fashions."

Let me mention, the deep sea fishing episode is another bet where I am sure the money spent on those tuna fish cost a pretty penny. What abt the cost of renting a boat with a guy to drive that boat? Gee, seems each of them were better of just admitting the truth and saving face AND MONEY. :lol:

Also, who was watching Little Ricky while he was at the park? Is this a park where the parents can just drop of their kids and leave them to fend for themselves? :crazy:

Job Switching is, to me, the KING of "war between the sexes" sitcom episodes (or should I say QUEEN? :lol:). A couple of years ago, my mom and dad went to the Lucy-Desi museum in Jamestown, NY, and brought me back a pair of pajamas they found in the gift shop. They are flannel, pink, and decorated with drawings of Lucy and Ethel at the candy assembly line. :rofl:
