Is anyone here interested in Michael Cera?
He's a 19-year-old (born 7th June 1988) Canadian actor and was one of the stars of Superbad, which I saw last night. I didn't think it was a great film, and it's hardly original, but I thought it was fun and amusing, and it was an enjoyable way for me to spend a couple of hours.
He also played George Michael Bluth in Arrested Development.
I think Cera is a talented comic actor (and I notice he's signed on to play the lead in the film of Youth in Revolt and he's going to start filming a movie called Year One with Jack Black soon.) He seems intelligent and grounded and I like him. It would be nice to see him stretch his wings a bit, though; a few of his roles have seemed quite similar so far.
