interesting, but the one about the first couple to be shown in bed together is wrong; depending who you talk to. Some people say it was "Mary Kaye & Johnny" a couple who starred in a sitcom with the same name, in 1949. But some people don't count that, since they were married in real life as well. And some people don't count Fred and Wilma Flintstone; since they were animated. (guess they think animated characters don't have sex:lol:  ) And, some people say it was Fred & Ethel in a Jan, 1954 episode of "I LOVE LUCY" but, again, some people don't count that since it was just in one episode and one scene.
But, it was actually Samantha and Darrin Stevens on the pilot episode of "BEWITCHED" in 1964.
However the guy who runs tvobscurities.com says that it was Ozzie and Harriet Nelson on an episode of "THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE & HARRIET". He says that he's never read or heard that, but he remembers a scene in an episode where Ricky or David came home from a date and was talking to them while O and H were in bed.

Robert Kino****a was the designer of both Robby the Robot from the movie Forbidden Planet (1956) and Robot B9 from Lost in Space (TV) ( You might notice many similarities from the waist up )
Robby actually played "guest Robot" on two eps of the LIS TV series

That was the coolest fact of all, LOL. Love the show. Robby was also seen on an episode of The Banana Splits Show and Mork & Mindy.

Robot B-9 was my childhood hero......the fact that he was totally redesigned ( though they used the same voice actor ), was one of many reasons that I hated the LIS movie, there are some things you JUST dont fool with, and Robot B-9 is No1 on that list!!!!!

the producers of CHEERS first wanted William Devane and Julia Duffy to play Sam & Diane. After William Devane turned the role down; they wanted Fred Dryer and Sam to be an ex-football player. After Fred Dryer was turned down, and Ted Danson got the role, they made Sam an ex-baseball player.
The bar was originally going to be set in a small town in Calif.
John Ratzenberger first auditioned for the role of Norm. After he was turned down, he asked "Hey, do you have a 'bar fly' in this show"?
"A bar fly? What's that"?
"You know, one of those guys that's always hanging around a bar, thinks he knows everything about everything, and is always 'shooting his mouth off' to everyone".

Edie Murphy was going to be in STAR TREK 4.
An early story treatment for that was going to have them go back to Dallas, Texas in Nov. 1963 and witness the Kennedy assination. Spock would have been the mysterious "second gunman" and he's remained mysterious because right after he fired the shot (he had to fire it in order to put history back on course), he beamed out.
