That's a HARD one-My preferences are as follows:"The Beverly hillbillies"-(I like the black and white episodes best-The color ones are not nearly as good as the black and wjwhite ones). As for "Petticoat Junction" the best ones are the ones with the late Bea Benaderet as Kate Bradley.."Green Acres",the first four seasons are the best. After that, they vary between good and bad.Anyone else feel the same way I do?

I love all three of them equally. I'd love a day-long marathon of all three.

Petticoat Junction all the way--lots and lots of Petticoat Junction--and especially Kate Bradley--my #1 favorite TV character of all time.

Green Acres. It's one of the few sitcoms from the 60's that I actually don't mind watching once in a while and it still makes me laugh. I haven't seen much of Petticoat Junction and I don't really care for the Beverly Hillbillies anymore.

Beverly Hillbillies my choice since it came on first, then Petticoat followed by Green Acres.

Green Acres!! I like Beverly Hillbillies, too, but never got the belly laughs out of it that I did with Green Acres. Never saw Petticoat Junction.

Never saw Petticoat Junction.
I highly recommend you rent Petticoat Junction Ultimate Collection. It's spun from The Beverly hillibillies. It's about a widow with three girls who own/run The Shadyrest Hotel with their lazy Uncle Joe. It's set in the town of Hooterville same as Green Acres, it's a really good series.

I like all three! I wish seasons 4-6 of Green Acres were released, since I have seasons 1-3 on DVD. I also wish that season sets were available for The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction because I'm not really interested in 'best of' sets.

Beverly Hillbillies. Coincidentally, I was born the year it debuted, 1962.

most of the first 2 seasons of BH are on "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES-ULTIMATE COLLECTION: VOLUME 1" and "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES-ULTIMATE COLLECTION: VOLUME 2"

well; since the last time I saw PJ was when TV LAND used to show it; and the same with GA and now TV LAND doesn't show these 2 shows anymore:( :( ; I'll have to say BH since I have the DVD set of THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION-VOLUME 1 and I'm always watching it.

I always loved THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES (although the last season was rather
weak; esp. the episodes when they went to England) and always liked PETTICOAT JUNCTION (before Bea Benadaret's death; I don't recall watching
the later episodes). I only saw the GREEN ACRES pilot and (sorry, GREEN ACRES fans), it just didn't grab me.

All 3, all equally!

Green Acres was the funniest of the 3, Beverly Hillbillies was the best-written, and Petticoat Junction was always warm and friendly and a joy to watch.

If you were to take the best elements of each show and combined them, you would have one dynamite sitcom. It's just too bad that you don't see them very often anymore.

I'd love to see a "Petticoat Junction" Vol. 2 DVD. Volume 1 is very good, better than many of the colour episodes, and I would welcome another chance to see the first 2 seasons.
