in the Movie, her name is Margaret O'houlihan and Frank is sent away for mental fatigue/section 8 and never comes back ( actually, thats not TOO far off from how he left the TV show, come to think of it )

And,I heard that Loretta Swit has said that the character Hot Lips(Margaret),(although at first, she and Frank Burns were so goody-goody,)she played,DID NOT like the Maj.Frank Burns character.Has anyone else heard this?

I think that their lovey-dovey relationship dissolved when Margaret overheard Frank's telephone conversation to his wife, when, while talking to his wife,he referred to Margaret as an old "Warhorse."Remember that episode from the Col.Potter years?

it was "a warhorse with bosums".

there's a scene in that movie that I never noticed until the 2nd or 3rd time I saw it. It's when he's being driven away in the jeep; they then show Duke and Trapper standing outside the swamp looking like they feel sorry for him.
