View Full Version : Chris Mortensen on ESPN should be FIRED!!!!!!. That Idiot reported last week that
TVFactFan 09-16-2007, 02:11 PM Eli Manning had a seperated shoulder and would be out for a month and Right now I'm looking at Eli throw TD passes a week later after that report. I can no longer take him seriously after havingme spread FALSE INFORMATION around
Ireneparalegal 09-16-2007, 02:13 PM He only reports what is written for him. How can a sportscaster know how bad an injury is? He only reports. Just like the football who is paralyzed, no one knows the outcome, but the reports come out as the doctors give the information.

He is not a sportscaster, he is the Inside reporter for the network and did a horrible job.
Brian Damage 09-16-2007, 02:17 PM You are such a HATER Solomon.
TVFactFan 09-16-2007, 02:20 PM You are such a HATER Solomon.

I knew something was up with that the minute the Giants denied the report.

I think shark8777 was the one who said the Giants denied the report and I was thinking he was on meds-lol Its Chris Morty who is not performing at a high level-lol He is the Houston Texans of Inside Reporting
BTW: on ESPN Countdown today Chris Berman said that Chris Mortensen should give his Degree Back because of the false report-lol
Mr. Television 09-16-2007, 02:44 PM I have to agree with you Solomon. All week long Mort said Manning was going to be out and he looks great out there right now.
Ireneparalegal 09-16-2007, 02:47 PM He is not a sportscaster, he is the Inside reporter for the network and did a horrible job.
Well, I am sure he didn't get information from "the source" he got it second hand. Whoever gave him that info is the one whose head you should be chewing off.

No I'm chewing his head off because he works for ESPN and made the network look foolish by his inaccurate reporting.

Yes he does sonny, he is playing like he was never injured. ESPN should seperate Mort's PAYCHECK-lol

Am I typing in Russian here? Again, he doesn't just go around and make up stuff. Someone has to give him the information to report. Whoever GAVE HIM the information is the one who was obviously wrong.

Well he need to get some better sources-lol Why in the world would I criticize the SOURCE?? It's mort's responsibility to have a reliable source and from the looks of it he needs a new source

It's no different than a newscaster on any given news program. They report what information is handed to them on paper. I am sure if there was a reason to question it, he/she would do so. But if you get information from a source that has been reliable in the past, why would you question it? Especially with a sport injury. Those injuries cannot be pinpointed down to an exact science of whether the player will be out for a few days, few weeks or months. I am sure the only one who knew exactly how bad the player was, was his own doctor. And the doctor has doctor/patient privilege. If that doctor isn't allowed to speak on his patient's request, then you only have second hand sources to rely upon.

But the point I'm making is ESPN was the only station or newtork to report that info and he looked bad. So now I don't want to post anything from Morty anymore-lol
Ireneparalegal 09-16-2007, 03:27 PM I think ESPN as a whole is at fault here if they can't find good sources.

I'm sure the NY Post made fun of this Reporting Boo-boo by ESPN. The Post makes FUN of ESPN every 3 days-lol
