Hi Everyone,
I decied to improve this scribt, the ending didn't seem quite right to me. For those of you who've already read this fan fiction everythings the same except for the very last sceen over at Bates Acamedy.
WARNING THIS SCRIBT CONTAINS SOME SCEENS WHICH MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR YOUNGER READERS
A LIFE LESSON…..
SEASON # 3
IN THE LOUNGE…………
(Mrs. Garrett is sitting on the couch next to Mackenzie. Mr. Parker is sitting over on the chair)
Mrs. Garrett: Mr. Parker this can't be (smiles and puts her arms around her) Mac the last time I saw you were only this high (places her hand out to show how tall she used to be) but look at you now you've grown into a lovely young women
Mackenzie: thank you (looks down a little worried)
Mr. Parker: (gets up from the chair and sits next to Mac on the couch) don't worry Mac your going to love it here (puts his arm around her for support)
Mackenzie: I hope so I've been going to public schools all my life
Mr. Parker: and last year my wife and I agreed that Mackenzie should give private school a chance
Mackenzie: I just hope Eastland is as great as you say it is dad
Mr. Parker: Mackenzie (takes his arm off her shoulder) now don't forget what I told you
Mackenzie: I know dad here at school I have to call you Mr. Parker just like everybody else (says it with a smile)
Mrs. Garrett: don't worry Mackenzie Eastland is a wonderful place for learning and the girls here are so friendly and respectful towards each other……
IN THE DINING AREA………..
(Jo and Blair enter the dining area Blair is carrying her history book)
Jo: (yelling at Blair. Mr. Parker and Mrs. Garrett enter the room) Well I'm sorry Blair but you deserve it.
Mr. Parker: (getting angry) Girls what's going on here
Blair: (folds her arms and looks straight at Jo with an angry face) that selfish jerk glued the pages of my history book together (unfolds her arms and shows that her history book has been glued together)
Mr. Parker: (walks over to Jo with an angry face) I want an explantion young lady and I want it now
Jo: (looks right at Blair) the air headed blond was suppose to return my books to the library
Mrs. Garrett: why should the air head…(stops herself) .. I mean Blair have to return your books to the library
Jo: (starts to walk across the room) Because I had no time, (stops turns back towards everyone) and she said (looks over at Blair) she was going by there 5 days ago and would return them for me then I find out yesterday that they were returned 3 days late
Mrs. Garrett: (walks over towards Jo and trys to talk to her in a calm voice) Alright Jo so you books were late it happens why get upset at Blair
Jo: (Jo's tone is still not good) because I had to pay the fine and she refused to pay me back
Blair: (getting angry at Jo) next time return the books yourself
Jo: Oh don't worry I'll never ask you for anything ever again I'm going upstairs (she turns to go up stairs but Mr. Parker stops her)
Mr. Parker: not so fast there's still the matter of the text book (points to the book)
Jo: why should I pay for her text book this whole thing was Blair's fault (natalie and Tootie enter the room) Natalie and Tootie will agree with me
Natalie: agree with you about it
Jo: That Blair should pay for her history book
Tootie: (looks over at Mrs. garrett and Mr. Parker with confusion) were being charged now for the use of the books I always thought the school board supplied us with books
Blair: Jo didn't tell you the whole story she glued the pages of my history book together and excepts me to pay for it
Jo: She's not telling you the whole story Blair was suppose to return some books to the library for me, which she did 3 days late, and now she refuses to pay me back for the fine
Natalie: (looks over at Jo with confused look on her face) so you glued the pages in her history book together
Jo: Right now now who do you think should pay Blair or me
Natalie: (Natalie and Tootie turn towards each other. Then Natalie looks both at Jo and Blair) I think both of you should pay
Tootie: I agree with Nat
Jo/Blair: What
Blair: would you please explain that
Natalie: Blair should pay for the library books
Blair: why should I pay for her library books
Natalie: you agreed to return them to the library
Jo: yeah and I thought she was going to return them on time
Natalie: because the books were returned late Blair should give Jo the money back for the fine
Mrs. Garrett: (looks over at Mr. Parker) That seems fair to me (looks over at Jo) Jo what do you think
Jo: (still a little angry she quitly says) Well I guess that seems fair
Mr. Parker: Blair be sure you pay her back by the end of the day
Blair: (shows everyone her history book) Alright, but what about my history book
Tootie: (tootie looks over at Nat and pats her on the shoulder) I'll take it from her Nat (she turns towards Jo) Jo you're the one who ruined the history book and I feel that you should pay for it
Jo: Well I wouldn't have if Blair had returned my books on time
Tootie: Jo how stupid are you
Jo: Watch it tootie
Tootie: Blair only has to pay 30 cents for not returning your books on time and you have to pay $20.00 for ruining her history book
Mr. Parker: (clearing his throat) Actually it's $25.00 dollars and I agree with both Natalie and Tootie
Jo: but I can't afford 25 dollars for a book
Mrs. Garrett: (smiling as she puts her hands on JO's shoulders) no problem Jo guess who's going to be cleaning up after the dance on Saturday night
Mr. Parker: Mrs. Garrett that's a wonderful idea (looks over in the longe to see Mackenzie sitting over on the couch) Mackenzie I forget all about you (mackenzie enters the room) girls this is a new student Mackenzie Parker
Jo: (in a symatic voice) you poor girl to have the same last name as Mr. Parker (nods her head in sadness)
Mackenzie: he's my dad
Jo: (smiles) Oops sorry it's nice to meet you my name is Jo (extends her hand towards Mackenzie)
Blair: (smiling Blair extens her hand towards mac and they shake hands) hi I'm Blair Warner if you ever need any tips on fashion and makeup
Tootie: (cuts her off) Feel free to come to me anytime (extends her hand and they shake hands) hi I'm Tootie
Mackenzie: Tootie (pauses for a moment) sounds like an ice cream flavor (laughs a little bit)
Tootie: (smiling to show her that it's ok) my real name is Dorothy but everybody calls me Tootie
Natalie: (natalie extends her hand towards Mackenzie and they shake hands) Hi I'm Natalie I love your locket
Mackenzie: thanks my mom gave it to me on my 13th birthday
Jo: is there a picture inside
Mackenzie: (looks over at her dad as she's opening it. Mr. Parker's face has no comment on it) yeah it's a picture of my little sister
Blair: (gets in for a closer look) Ah how cute how old is she
Mackenzie: she'll be 4 in June (trying to stop the conversation she turns to her dad) which dorm is mine
Mr. Parker: you'll be staying in dorm g room 14
Tootie: oh that's right by the library Nat and I will show you
Mackenzie: by it was nice meeting of you
Blair: by Mackenzie (Natalie/Tootie/and Mackenzie leave)
Mr. Parker: Well if you'll excuse me I have some paper work to do

UP IN THE GIRLS ROOM LATER THAT EVENING…….
(Jo is sitting on her bed studying. Blair walks over to her and hands her some money)
Blair: here's the money for books Jo
Jo: (has a tiny smile on her face) thanks
Blair: (sits down on JO's bed) look Jo since this whole thing is kind of my fault how about if I help you clean up on Saturday night (smiles at Jo)
Jo: (puts down her book and looks up at Blair) Blair you would do that for me
Blair: (pauses for a moment then smiles really big) yeah right don't hold your breathe (Blair moves over to her bed. And Jo shoots her a look)
(Natalie and Tootie enter the room and go over on there beds)
Jo: how does Mackenzie like her dorm
Natalie: she likes it. She's unpacking now
Tootie: she's awfully quite doesn't talk much
Jo: Well if anybody could get her to open up it would be you tootie (smiles at her)
Tootie: yeah I do have a knack for getting people to talk to me
Blair: especially since you usually already know everybody business
Tootie: (puts her hand over her chest like she's really hurt) Blair I can't believe you said that I haven't listened in on other people's converstations since last year
Natalie: (looks up towards her bunk) What about at the Sizzler last week you listened in on that one conversation
Tootie: Can I help it if I was in on there listening range
Jo: They were sitting on the other side of the resturant
Blair: yeah and you kept on finding excuses to walk over there to listen in on there conversation
Jo: I never saw anybody go to the restroom 5 times during a meal
Mrs. Garrett: (Mrs. Garrett enters the room) Girls lights out
Blair: (looks over at Mrs.Garrett) Mrs. Garrett what did you think of Mackenzie
Mrs. Garrett: ( she enters the room a little futher) I've known Mac since she was a little girl
Natalie: (gets up from her bed and walks over towards Mrs. Garrett) You have
Mrs. garrett: yeah I used to babysit her on Friday nights while Mr. Parker and his wife went out for the evening but I haven't seen her in 5 years
Jo: (smiling towards Mrs. Garrett) I bet Mr. Parker's glad that she's finally enrolled here
Mrs. Garrett: you don't know how glad (pauses for a moment) she got into a little bit of trouble in her old school
Tootie: (with couristy in her voice) What kind of trouble
Jo: Tootie that's none of our business (getting mad at Tootie)
Blair: Jo's right (gets up from her bed and walks over towards Mrs. garrett) so what kind of trouble did she get in
Mrs. Garrett: (sighs for a moment) girls all I can say is here she won't get into the same kind of trouble she did back home lights out in 5 minutes ok
Tootie: Night Mrs. Garrett
Jo/Blair/Natalie: night (mrs. Garrett leaves the room)
Tootie: (Tootie/natalie/and Blair go back to there beds) I wonder what Mrs. Garrett meant by that
Jo: she meant that here at Eastland she can't get into any trouble with boys
Blair: You really think that's what happened
Jo: (just gives her a look that says yes. Natalie and tootie also look over at Jo)

Thursday Afternoon the girls are seving lunch to the students. Several students are in line. And several students are sitting down and eating)
Mackenzie: (graps her tray and starts down the line) Hi guys how long have you been working in the kitchen
Blair: since last year we got into some trouble and now where paying for it
Mackenzie: (looks down to the ground) Oh I know what that's like
Blair: (in a phoney voice) perhaps someday we could share stories on what happened
Mackenzie http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.giflooks up pauses for a moment. Turns her head to the right and spots her friends) oh there's Barbara I promised to eat lunch with her today (mackenzie quickly goes through the line. Jo and Blair look at each other with concern)
Jo: (serves a girl some food and turn towards Blair getting annoyed) Blair would you keep your big mouth shut if she want's to tell us she will
Natalie: (Natalie scopes some string beans up for Sarah) hi Sarah string beans today
Sarah: sure (Natalie puts some in her plate) hey Nat how'd you do on the English paper
Natalie: pretty good I think
Sarah: I better let you get back to work, I'll talk to ya later (natalie smiles as sarah takes her seat)
Blair: (Jo/Natalie/and Tootie continue to serve the food. Blair suddenly goes into a day dream) I cant' wait for the dance Saturday night Todd and I dancing the night away in each other arms oh it's going to be magic
Tonya: (in a rude voice. She shoves her tray towards Blari) how about doing some magic for me princess (pauses for a moment then raises her voice) and putting some meat on my plate (Blair snaps out of her day dream)
Jo: watch it I'm the only who can talk to her like that
Blair: (looks over at Jo) and you do a great job at it to Jo
Jo: Thank you now give her some meat (blair puts some meat on her tray and she leaves)
Blair: (Blair turns towards Jo with a smile) thanks Jo for sticking up for me
Jo: (smiling) Don't menation it (her smile faded) not ever to anybody I got my rep to think about (pauses for a moment and then does a tiny smile) but your right the dance is going to be magic John asked me out last week
Tootie: (the girls continue to serve the food) What about you Nat who are you going with
Natalie: (pauses for a moment and looks down at her string beans) I'm not going to the dance
Tootie: Nat why would you miss the dance
Blair: yeah it's going to be the biggest dance of the year us and the (smiling) Bates boys
Jo: yeah come on Nat you can't miss it
Tootie: I hear Peter Johnson asked you out
Natalie: (getting angry) I said I'm not going
Jo: but Natalie
Natalie: (stars to raise her voice) look I'm not going and that's it (just as natalie runs out into the kitchen everyone in the lunch room looks over at the girls with concern for Natalie)
Mrs. Garrett: (mrs. garrett enters the room from the kitchen) Girls does anybody want to explain to me why Natalie just ran upstairs in huff
Tootie: we don't know Mrs. Garrett, (a student comes up for some food) oh excuse me, hi Gretchen here you go (she places a pudding cup on her tray)
Gretchen: thanks (pauses for a moment) Tootie what's the matter with Natalie
Blair: We don't know we were talking about the dance and she got all upset
Mrs. Garrett: Well Blair you can get started in the kitchen (blair goes into the kitchen) Jo and tootie can finish up in here I"ll go and talk to Natalie (mrs. Garrett leaves. Tootie looks at Jo and sighs)

Mrs. Garrett: (sitting down at the desk and ponding her fist into table. Mrs. Garrett Knokcs just once and enters the room) Natalie we need to talk
Natalie: (quickly gets up) I'm sorry Mrs. Garrett I'll go back downstairs and help cleanup (starts to walk towards the door but Mrs. garrett stops her.)
Mrs. Garrett: (puts her arms on her shoulders) you can help later. Right now were going to talk
Natalie: Mrs. Garrett can you please just let me go and help clean
Mrs. Garrett: (pauses for a moment) alright Natalie, but when you want to talk I'm here for you (Natalie doesn't say a word she walks right past Mrs.garrett and leaves the room. Mrs. garrett has a worried look on her face)

Thursday evening up in the girls room…… natalie is sitting at the desk writing a paper. Tootie walks over towards her.)
Tootie: Natalie are you sure you don't want to come to the dance
Natalie: (starts to raise her foice) I already said no (jo and Blair enter the room) can we please drop this
Blair: (sits down on her bed) Ok Nat it's dropped
Jo: (goes over to her bed)
Tootie: well since I can't change your mind about going, can you help me pick out a dress to wear
Natalie: (sighs for a moment then smiles at Tootie) Sure come on let's see what you have in the closet (natalie and tootie walk over towards the closet)
Blair: (whispering to Jo) Jo why don't we go outside
Jo: (whispers back) what for
Blair: (shakes her head) Jo
Jo: Alright, (Jo and Blair leave the room)

Out in the hall way……..
Jo: Alright what is it
Blair: I'm worried about natalie
Jo: so she doesn't want to go the dance it's no big deal
Blair: she hasn't been to a dance since last fall
Jo: You mean the night of the coustom party
Blair: The night she almost got (pauses for a moment) ….. I don't even think about it
Jo: so that's why she's not going to the dance
Blair: Jo she can't face her fears if she just stays inside all the time
Jo: for once I agree with you, but we can't push Natalie when she's ready she'l know (blair gives Jo a look that says you maybe right. They head back into the room)

In the girls room….. tootie is holding a dress up in front of her and Natalie is sitting down on her bed
Blair: Tootie is that the dress your wearing to the dance
Tootie: yup how do you like it (spins around so everyone can see it)
Blair: (smiling0 I think it's great (looks over at Natalie) Natalie you got wonderful taste
Natalie: well I'll see you guys later I'm going to go visit Mackenzie (leaves the room)
Tootie: I just wish I knew why she wasn't going to the dance, but she won't even talk about
Jo: Natalies afaird
Tootie: of what I don't' understand
Blair: She afaid of what happened at the dance last fall
Tootie: (pauses for a moment) uh the night she almost got poor Natalie and here I've been pushing her to go to the dance
Blair: were all guilty of that
Jo: look it's just going to take some time (Jo Blair and Natalie all look at each other with concern for Natalie)

Over at Mackenzie's dorm
Mackenzie: Hi Natalie come on in (Natalie enters the room)
Natalie: Thanks where Barbara
Mackenzie: oh she's at the library
Natalie: (looks around the room. And sees the Mac still has quite a bit of unpacking to do) I see you got settled in quite nicely (looks over and sees a picture sitting on a nightstand) is that another picture of you sister (Natalie walks towards the nightstand to get a closer look) (mackenzie doesn't say a word. She looks down towards the ground, and natalie turns back towards her) Mackenzie are you alright
Mackenzie: (mackenzie walks over towards natalie and sits down on her bed. Natalie sits down next to her) no I'm not and she's not my sister (pauses for a moment) she's my daughter
Natalie: your daughter, but you said…..
Mackenzie: (cuts her off and starts to raise her voice) I know what I said but my dad told me just to tell everyone that Jessica is my sister
Natalie: I don't understand
Mackenize: (gets up from the bed and starts to walk across the room) a few years ago I was dating this guy (turns back towards Natalie with a smile on her face) I was in love with him (she pauses and her smile quickly fades) until I found out that I was pregrent, when I told him he told me to get an aboration
Natalie: oh my god that's horriable
Mackenzie: when I told him I wouldn't he left me
Natalie: (gets up from the bed and walks towards Mac) I respect your descion for keeping the baby, so is your mother raising Jessica
Mackenzie: no my Aunt and Uncle couldn't have kids so they adopted her
Natalie: does she know that you're her real mother
Mackenzie: were going to tell her someday, but not now she's a little young. (pauses with a tearful look on her face) Natalie please don't' tell anybody what I just told you
Natalie: (she smiles to show her that it's going to be ok) I won't I promise
Mackenzie: (she smiles back) I hear your not going to the dance
Natalie: oh you heard about that
Mackenzie: actually I think every student in the lunch room heard it, so what's going on why aren't you going
Natalie: (Pauses for a moment takes a deep breath) last Fall when I was walking home from a party. I took a short cut there some a path of hedges. (pauses) While I was walking a man grapped me and pushed me down on the ground
Mackenzie: Did he…
Natalie: (cuts her off) no he heard some kids walking by got scared and ran off
Mackenzie: Natalie I'm so sorry that happened to you
Natalie: thanks do you have a date for the dance
Mackenzie: no I'm just by myself
Natalie: (smiles and looks at her watch) I better get back have a good time at the dance tomorrow night (Natalie leaves the room)

Saturday night while everyone is at the dance Natalie is up in her room……..
In the Eastland Gym………..
(Blair/Jo/and Tootie enter the gym)
Blair: oh the gym looks great
Jo: yeah it's nice to see that they got rid of the smell of sweat
Tootie: (spots her date smiles) Well if you'll excuse me there's Ryan I'll see you girls later (walks over towards Ryan)
Scott: and who's your friend
Blair : I'm sorry this is Mackenzie Parker. Mackenize this is Scott and Peter
Scott: (pauses and looks up at Mac with slight confusion) Parker are you releted to the headmaster at Eastland
Mackenzie: (smiling) He's my dad
Scott: (smiling) well do you wanna dance
Jo: I wish Natalie came to the dance (mrs. garrett approches them) Hey Mrs. G you look nice
Mrs. Garrett: thanks Jo I'll see you girls later
John: Jo you look wonderful (John approches Jo and she turns towards him) Hi Blair
Blair: Hi (smiles at john) oh would you excuse me (Blair spots Todd over by the punch bowl and leaves to join him)

OUT IN THE DANCE FLOOR SCOTT AND MACKENZIE ARE DANCING…….
Scott: Are you having a good time
Mackenzie: (does a slighly phony smile) yeah the dance is great
Scott: (smiles) no I mean at Eastland (his smile fades) weren't you going to public school
Mackenzie: yeah but my parents felt that private school would be good for me, and of course they choose Eastland
Scott: since your dads the headmaster
Mackenzie: and he bascially can keep an eye on me at all times
Scott: I couldn't handle having my dad so close all the time
Mackenzie: (in an annoyed voice) Tell me about it. (pauses for a moment) I love my dad in all, but I sometimes feel that he just doesn't' trust me
Scott: (smiling as he looks into her eyes) I guess it's because you're his little girl and he only wants to protect you
Mackenzie: I guess (pauses and starts to raises her voice just slightly) God this dance is as lame as the one's we had back home
Scott: So why don't we cut out of here
Mackenzie: and go where (she asks him with a question look on her face)
Scott: how about my dorm room
Mackenzie: (looks at him for a few moments) but I'm not suppose to leave campus
Scott: (pauses for a moment) then how about your dorm room
Mackenzie: (doesn't say a word she just smiles and together they leave the dance)

STANDING OVER IN THE CONER…….
(Blair is standing over in the coner. Todd approaches her with a plate of food and keeps on for himself)
Blair: (takes the plates and smiles) Thank you didn't they have any shrimp
Todd: no they ran out a few minutes before I got up there
Jo: (Jo and John walk up towards them) hey guys you both know John
Todd: yeah I think I've seen you at Football practice nice tackle last week
John: Thanks your Todd right
Todd; yeah nice to meet you (extends his hand and shakes John)
John: Nice to meet you too
Jo: Well John (looks over at the food table) and I are going to go get something to eat I'll see ya later (Blair and Todd eat there food. John and Jo head over towards the table)

OVER AT MACKENZIE'S DORM ROOM……
(Scott and Mackenzie enter the room)
Mackenzie: come on in sorry it's such a mess I'm still unpacking and putting my stuff away
Scott: (laughs a little bit) don't worry about it you should see my dorm room clothes all over the floor, paper everywhere, old pizza crusts,
Mackenzie: so who's the slob you are your roommate
Scott: just call me Oscar
Mackenize: Well Oscar can I get you a soda (laughing a little bit)
Scott: allow me the vending machine is down in the lunge right
Mackenzie: yeah
Scott: Ok I'll be right back (just as Scott leaves Mac stops him)
Mackenzie: Wait a minute what if somebody sees you
Scott: Mac relax I'll be quick (smiles then leaves the room Mackenzie has a worried look on her face)

Down in the lunge…..
(Scott puts some money in a vending machine and gets a can of coke. He then takes two small cups from the dispenser and pours the soda half into each cup. As he's pouring the soda he looks around to make sure the coast is clear. He places the soda down on the table, reaches into his inside coat pocket and pulls out a tiny bottle filled with blue liquid. He opens the liquid and pours it into one of the cups. Then he tosses away the bottle in a nearby garbage can and heads back upstairs)

Outside Mackenzie's dorm room she's waiting by her door for Scott
Scott: (scott quickly goes down the hall towards her foom) I hope Coke is ok
Mackenzie: Oh that's fine (she says it very quickly and pushes Scott inside and closes the door behind her)
Scott: (he turns towards Mac and hands her a soda the one with the blue liquid) ) Sorry we have to share I didn't have enough change for 2 of them
Mackenzie: (takes a sip of soda) oh no problem (smiles)
Scott: (smiles at Mackenzie)

Back at the dance……
Blair: (just as the music stops) Todd would you mind if we sit this one out my feet are killing me
Todd: sure no problem how about if we go sit down
Mrs. Garrett: Hi kids having a good time
Blair: Oh yeah (a little winded) but I think my dancing is finished for the night (Todd puts his arms around her for support. And Blair rest her head on his shoulder)
Mrs. Garrett: Tootie sure is having a good time (smiling as she looks at Tootie dancing)
Blair: yeah but she's upset because Natalie didn't come
Mrs. Garrett: give it some time I'm sure she'll be ok

UP IN MACKENZIES DORM ROOM…….
(mackenzie suddenly feels very dizzy and has no idea what's going on
Mackenzie: (in a very faint voice) What's going on I feel like I'm gonnea (just as shes about to passout. Scott graps her and walks her over to the bed)
Scott: (sounding concerned) here why don't you lie on the bed
Mackenzie: I don't under…… (she lays down on the bed and passes out)
Scott: (Scott leans in over her and whispers) Mackenzie, Mackenzie (mackenzie doesn't respond she just lies there. Scott walks over to the other side of the room and locks the door. He turn turns back towards mackenzie with a look of angy in his eyes.)

Back at the dance……
(Blair/Jo/and Tootie are are sitting down with there dates just resting. Mr. Parker approches them)
Mr. Parker: (in a total frantic) any of you girls seen Mac I can't find her anywhere
Blair: No I haven't seen her since we got here
Mr. Parker: (sighs) Thanks girls (leaves)
Tootie: I wonder where she is
John: I haven't seen her all evening
Gretchen: (who was dancing near by over hears there conversation. She walks over to the them)
Are you guys talking about Mac
Jo: yeah (she gets up from her chair) have you seen her
Paul: (gretchens date) we saw her leave about an hour ago with some guy
Todd http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gifgets up from his chair and so does everyone else they all walk towards Gretchen) are you sure
Gretchen: Postive she was going back to her dorm room (Gretchen and Paul leave)
(Everyone else looks at each other with worry on there faces)
Jo: Ok looks you guys stay here I'm gonnea go and check Mac's dorm room (Jo leaves and everyone else looks over at each other)

Up in Mackezie's dorm room……
Scott: (Scott kisses Mac on the forhead) sweet dreams Mac ( just as he's about to leave he sees Jo is coming down the hall he quickly goes back inside )oh shoot (he runs to hide in the closet)
Jo: (from out in the hall Jo pounds in the door) Mac are in there (no answer) Mac answer me (raising her voice) Mac (she then discovers that Scott didn't shut the door all the way. Opens it and walks in to find Mac passed out on the bed she runs over to her and starts to shake her) OH MY GOD Mac, Come on wake up Mac wake up (When mac didn't' respond Jo quickly runs down stairs into the lounge and calls 911)
Operator on the other line: 911 is this an emgerceny
Jo: (in a panic voice) yes I'm calling for the Eastland Boarding School there's a girl here who's unconisious she's in Dorm G
Operator: ok miss is she breathing
Jo: (still in a paniced voice) I don't know I couldn't tell
Operator: Ok the EMT's are on there way have somebody waiting out in front for them
Jo: Ok and (raises her voice) hurry please (Just as Jo's about to leave the room. Blair and Tootie enter the room)
Blair: (almost screaming) Mac what happened to her
Jo: I don't know she was passed out when I got here I'm gonnea go and find Mrs. Garrett and Mr. Parker (Jo leaves the room, and without a moment's hesitation Tootie and Blair start CPR on Mackenzie)

Jo: go wait outside in front of her dorm for the police to arrive (the guys quickly leave and Jo goes to find Mr. Parker)
Jo: Mr. Parker (she approaches him and Mrs. Garrett with tears running down her face)

(Mrs. Garrett is sitting on the couch next to Mackenzie. Mr. Parker is sitting over on the chair)
Mrs. Garrett: Mr. Parker this can't be (smiles and puts her arms around her) Mac the last time I saw you were only this high (places her hand out to show how tall she used to be) but look at you now you've grown into a lovely young women
Mackenzie: thank you (looks down a little worried)
Mr. Parker: (gets up from the chair and sits next to Mac on the couch) don't worry Mac your going to love it here (puts his arm around her for support)
Mackenzie: I hope so I've been going to public schools all my life
Mr. Parker: and last year my wife and I agreed that Mackenzie should give private school a chance
Mackenzie: I just hope Eastland is as great as you say it is dad
Mr. Parker: Mackenzie (takes his arm off her shoulder) now don't forget what I told you
Mackenzie: I know dad here at school I have to call you Mr. Parker just like everybody else (says it with a smile)

IN THE DINING AREA………..
(Jo and Blair enter the dining area Blair is carrying her history book)
Jo: (yelling at Blair. Mr. Parker and Mrs. Garrett enter the room) Well I'm sorry Blair but you deserve it.
Mr. Parker: (getting angry) Girls what's going on here
Blair: (folds her arms and looks straight at Jo with an angry face) that selfish jerk glued the pages of my history book together (unfolds her arms and shows that her history book has been glued together)
Mr. Parker: (walks over to Jo with an angry face) I want an explantion young lady and I want it now
Jo: (looks right at Blair) the air headed blond was suppose to return my books to the library
Mrs. Garrett: why should the air head…(stops herself) .. I mean Blair have to return your books to the library
Jo: (starts to walk across the room) Because I had no time, (stops turns back towards everyone) and she said (looks over at Blair) she was going by there 5 days ago and would return them for me then I find out yesterday that they were returned 3 days late
Mrs. Garrett: (walks over towards Jo and trys to talk to her in a calm voice) Alright Jo so you books were late it happens why get upset at Blair
Jo: (Jo's tone is still not good) because I had to pay the fine and she refused to pay me back
Blair: (getting angry at Jo) next time return the books yourself
Jo: Oh don't worry I'll never ask you for anything ever again I'm going upstairs (she turns to go up stairs but Mr. Parker stops her)
Mr. Parker: not so fast there's still the matter of the text book (points to the book)
Jo: why should I pay for her text book this whole thing was Blair's fault (natalie and Tootie enter the room) Natalie and Tootie will agree with me
Natalie: agree with you about it
Jo: That Blair should pay for her history book
Tootie: (looks over at Mrs. garrett and Mr. Parker with confusion) were being charged now for the use of the books I always thought the school board supplied us with books
Blair: Jo didn't tell you the whole story she glued the pages of my history book together and excepts me to pay for it
Jo: She's not telling you the whole story Blair was suppose to return some books to the library for me, which she did 3 days late, and now she refuses to pay me back for the fine
Natalie: (looks over at Jo with confused look on her face) so you glued the pages in her history book together

Natalie: (Natalie and Tootie turn towards each other. Then Natalie looks both at Jo and Blair) I think both of you should pay

Jo: yeah and I thought she was going to return them on time
Natalie: because the books were returned late Blair should give Jo the money back for the fine
Mrs. Garrett: (looks over at Mr. Parker) That seems fair to me (looks over at Jo) Jo what do you think
Jo: (still a little angry she quitly says) Well I guess that seems fair
Mr. Parker: Blair be sure you pay her back by the end of the day
Blair: (shows everyone her history book) Alright, but what about my history book
Tootie: (tootie looks over at Nat and pats her on the shoulder) I'll take it from her Nat (she turns towards Jo) Jo you're the one who ruined the history book and I feel that you should pay for it
Jo: Well I wouldn't have if Blair had returned my books on time
Tootie: Jo how stupid are you
Jo: Watch it tootie
Tootie: Blair only has to pay 30 cents for not returning your books on time and you have to pay $20.00 for ruining her history book
Mr. Parker: (clearing his throat) Actually it's $25.00 dollars and I agree with both Natalie and Tootie
Jo: but I can't afford 25 dollars for a book
Mrs. Garrett: (smiling as she puts her hands on JO's shoulders) no problem Jo guess who's going to be cleaning up after the dance on Saturday night
Mr. Parker: Mrs. Garrett that's a wonderful idea (looks over in the longe to see Mackenzie sitting over on the couch) Mackenzie I forget all about you (mackenzie enters the room) girls this is a new student Mackenzie Parker
Jo: (in a symatic voice) you poor girl to have the same last name as Mr. Parker (nods her head in sadness)
Mackenzie: he's my dad
Jo: (smiles) Oops sorry it's nice to meet you my name is Jo (extends her hand towards Mackenzie)
Blair: (smiling Blair extens her hand towards mac and they shake hands) hi I'm Blair Warner if you ever need any tips on fashion and makeup

Mackenzie: she'll be 4 in June (trying to stop the conversation she turns to her dad) which dorm is mine

(Jo is sitting on her bed studying. Blair walks over to her and hands her some money)

Blair: (sits down on JO's bed) look Jo since this whole thing is kind of my fault how about if I help you clean up on Saturday night (smiles at Jo)

Blair: (pauses for a moment then smiles really big) yeah right don't hold your breathe (Blair moves over to her bed. And Jo shoots her a look)
(Natalie and Tootie enter the room and go over on there beds)
Jo: how does Mackenzie like her dorm
Natalie: she likes it. She's unpacking now
Tootie: she's awfully quite doesn't talk much
Jo: Well if anybody could get her to open up it would be you tootie (smiles at her)
Tootie: yeah I do have a knack for getting people to talk to me
Blair: especially since you usually already know everybody business
Tootie: (puts her hand over her chest like she's really hurt) Blair I can't believe you said that I haven't listened in on other people's converstations since last year
Natalie: (looks up towards her bunk) What about at the Sizzler last week you listened in on that one conversation
Tootie: Can I help it if I was in on there listening range
Jo: They were sitting on the other side of the resturant
Blair: yeah and you kept on finding excuses to walk over there to listen in on there conversation

Blair: Jo's right (gets up from her bed and walks over towards Mrs. garrett) so what kind of trouble did she get in
Mrs. Garrett: (sighs for a moment) girls all I can say is here she won't get into the same kind of trouble she did back home lights out in 5 minutes ok

Sarah: I better let you get back to work, I'll talk to ya later (natalie smiles as sarah takes her seat)
Blair: (Jo/Natalie/and Tootie continue to serve the food. Blair suddenly goes into a day dream) I cant' wait for the dance Saturday night Todd and I dancing the night away in each other arms oh it's going to be magic
Tonya: (in a rude voice. She shoves her tray towards Blari) how about doing some magic for me princess (pauses for a moment then raises her voice) and putting some meat on my plate (Blair snaps out of her day dream)

Blair: yeah it's going to be the biggest dance of the year us and the (smiling) Bates boys

Natalie: (getting angry) I said I'm not going

Tootie: we don't know Mrs. Garrett, (a student comes up for some food) oh excuse me, hi Gretchen here you go (she places a pudding cup on her tray)

Blair: We don't know we were talking about the dance and she got all upset
Mrs. Garrett: Well Blair you can get started in the kitchen (blair goes into the kitchen) Jo and tootie can finish up in here I"ll go and talk to Natalie (mrs. Garrett leaves. Tootie looks at Jo and sighs)

Jo: for once I agree with you, but we can't push Natalie when she's ready she'l know (blair gives Jo a look that says you maybe right. They head back into the room)

She looks down towards the ground, and natalie turns back towards her) Mackenzie are you alright
Mackenzie: (mackenzie walks over towards natalie and sits down on her bed. Natalie sits down next to her) no I'm not and she's not my sister (pauses for a moment) she's my daughter

Mackenzie: (cuts her off and starts to raise her voice) I know what I said but my dad told me just to tell everyone that Jessica is my sister

Blair : I'm sorry this is Mackenzie Parker. Mackenize this is Scott and Peter
Scott: (pauses and looks up at Mac with slight confusion) Parker are you releted to the headmaster at Eastland

Scott: (smiling) well do you wanna dance

(Scott puts some money in a vending machine and gets a can of coke. He then takes two small cups from the dispenser and pours the soda half into each cup. As he's pouring the soda he looks around to make sure the coast is clear. He places the soda down on the table, reaches into his inside coat pocket and pulls out a tiny bottle filled with blue liquid. He opens the liquid and pours it into one of the cups. Then he tosses away the bottle in a nearby garbage can and heads back upstairs)

Mackenzie: Oh that's fine (she says it very quickly and pushes Scott inside and closes the door behind her)
Scott: (he turns towards Mac and hands her a soda the one with the blue liquid) ) Sorry we have to share I didn't have enough change for 2 of them
Mackenzie: (takes a sip of soda) oh no problem (smiles)
Scott: (smiles at Mackenzie)

Back at the dance……
Blair: (just as the music stops) Todd would you mind if we sit this one out my feet are killing me
Todd: sure no problem how about if we go sit down
Mrs. Garrett: Hi kids having a good time
Blair: Oh yeah (a little winded) but I think my dancing is finished for the night (Todd puts his arms around her for support. And Blair rest her head on his shoulder)
Mrs. Garrett: Tootie sure is having a good time (smiling as she looks at Tootie dancing)
Blair: yeah but she's upset because Natalie didn't come
Mrs. Garrett: give it some time I'm sure she'll be ok

UP IN MACKENZIES DORM ROOM…….
(mackenzie suddenly feels very dizzy and has no idea what's going on
Mackenzie: (in a very faint voice) What's going on I feel like I'm gonnea (just as shes about to passout. Scott graps her and walks her over to the bed)
Scott: (sounding concerned) here why don't you lie on the bed
Mackenzie: I don't under…… (she lays down on the bed and passes out)
Scott: (Scott leans in over her and whispers) Mackenzie, Mackenzie (mackenzie doesn't respond she just lies there. Scott walks over to the other side of the room and locks the door. He turn turns back towards mackenzie with a look of angy in his eyes.)

Back at the dance……
(Blair/Jo/and Tootie are are sitting down with there dates just resting. Mr. Parker approches them)
Mr. Parker: (in a total frantic) any of you girls seen Mac I can't find her anywhere
Blair: No I haven't seen her since we got here
Mr. Parker: (sighs) Thanks girls (leaves)
Tootie: I wonder where she is
John: I haven't seen her all evening
Gretchen: (who was dancing near by over hears there conversation. She walks over to the them)
Are you guys talking about Mac
Jo: yeah (she gets up from her chair) have you seen her
Paul: (gretchens date) we saw her leave about an hour ago with some guy
Todd http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gifgets up from his chair and so does everyone else they all walk towards Gretchen) are you sure
Gretchen: Postive she was going back to her dorm room (Gretchen and Paul leave)
(Everyone else looks at each other with worry on there faces)
Jo: Ok looks you guys stay here I'm gonnea go and check Mac's dorm room (Jo leaves and everyone else looks over at each other)

Up in Mackezie's dorm room……
Scott: (Scott kisses Mac on the forhead) sweet dreams Mac ( just as he's about to leave he sees Jo is coming down the hall he quickly goes back inside )oh shoot (he runs to hide in the closet)
Jo: (from out in the hall Jo pounds in the door) Mac are in there (no answer) Mac answer me (raising her voice) Mac (she then discovers that Scott didn't shut the door all the way. Opens it and walks in to find Mac passed out on the bed she runs over to her and starts to shake her) OH MY GOD Mac, Come on wake up Mac wake up (When mac didn't' respond Jo quickly runs down stairs into the lounge and calls 911)
Operator on the other line: 911 is this an emgerceny
Jo: (in a panic voice) yes I'm calling for the Eastland Boarding School there's a girl here who's unconisious she's in Dorm G
Operator: ok miss is she breathing
Jo: (still in a paniced voice) I don't know I couldn't tell
Operator: Ok the EMT's are on there way have somebody waiting out in front for them
Jo: Ok and (raises her voice) hurry please (Just as Jo's about to leave the room. Blair and Tootie enter the room)
Blair: (almost screaming) Mac what happened to her
Jo: I don't know she was passed out when I got here I'm gonnea go and find Mrs. Garrett and Mr. Parker (Jo leaves the room, and without a moment's hesitation Tootie and Blair start CPR on Mackenzie)

Back at the dance…..
(Jo walks in at top speed)
Jo: (she approaches the guys with tears running down her face)
John: (he puts his arms on her shoulders for support) Jo is Mackenzie alright
Jo: (she doesn't say a word)
Todd: (getting angry) Dammit Jo
Jo: (crying) she's passed out in her room. Natalie and Tootie are up there now doing CPR on her
Ryan: Oh my God What can we do to help
Jo: go wait outside in front of her dorm for the police to arrive (the guys quickly leave and Jo goes to find Mr. Parker)
Jo: Mr. Parker (she approaches him and Mrs. Garrett with tears running down her face)
Mrs. Garrett: Oh my god what's wrong (she puts her hands on Jo's shoulder)
Jo: (stand there for a moment with tears running down her face)
Mr. Parker: (raising his voice) Dammit it Jo what's going on
Jo: (takes a deep breath) it's Mackenzie she's up in her room passed out
Mr. Parker: (with an angry look on his face and concered a the same time) What
Jo: (tears are rolling down her face, and her voice is shaky) I tried to wake her, but I couldn't. Blair and Tootie are there now giving her CPR)
Mr. Parker/Jo and Mrs. Garrett: (all run of othe gym)

Later that evening sitting down in the lounge……….
Natalie: (Natalie is sitting down on the couch next to Mrs. Garrett) Mrs. Garrett is Mackenzie gonnea be ok
