Anyone seen this ep? It is so emotional and bittersweet. Love the scene in Barney's office when Fish starts to cry-and the final scene when they are all saying goodbye is amazing. It truly feels like the actors themselves are saying goodbye to Abe. Even Inspector Luger looked like he was about to cry.
I wish they'd brought him back after his show got cancelled. They could have made it work. They were always talking about manpower shortages, so they could have had Fish's retirement revoked due to them. Oh well. He was a great character!

OH Nuts!

Sigh!! Sorry sweetie I'm going to have to live vicariously through you and others. God, I wish they would come out with more seasons on DVD. But, considering the show has been off the air for 20+ yrs now, I do remember quite a bit as I really like this show. I just wish I had had the foresight to tape it.

I like the one line that Dietrich has when Fish is missing. He says, "My uncle went missing his last day before retirement, but they found him." Barney then says, "Thank goodness for that." Dietrich: "Yeah, the tide brought him in."
