I don't get the overload either regarding N@N's "new shows". I am so confused with their schedule and really, it is a turn-off. As much as I loved watching George Lopez on ABC, I have yet to watch it on N@N. Home Improvement is a show that many appreciate seeing in primetime. However, it would be nice to have one show a night for a week and then start the show from the beginning the following week.

Is Home Improvement even being shown in some order or is it just random episodes that are being aired?

I think Sherri Shepherd is an awesome addition to "The View." I watched her substitute many times, and almost everyone I know were pulling for her to become a regular host.

I disagree about Sherri not being an intelligent and classy women. Sure she doesn't have a law degree like Star Jones, but she has a lot to contribute to the panel nonetheless. She'll fit in perfectly. I'm just glad they're moving on from the catastrophic 10th season. I was fed up with Rosie.

About the Emmy picks... I think Tony's reign might be over tomorrow. Alec is the person to end it.

Well it's been Five Days and she has yet to show can be people serious for 5 minutes. So when is the intelligent side going to come out for everyone to see? When you say she has a lot to contribute do you man-"BEING THE CLOWN" so people can laugh?

I love Sheri Sheppard when she was on Everybody Loves Raymond. I also loved her comedic commentaries on those VH1 specials "The 70's" and each of those decade specials. I don't watch the View, like I said, only on those few occasions to see what was being said during the Vick indictment and the whole Rosie fiasco, so I can't say how she is on that show, but like I stated above, she is great and funny overall in what I have seen her.

Maybe she is just more suited for a comedic situation on TV instead of a show like the View

Home Improvement is being shown OUT of ORDER-lol

I wonder why they are showing Home Improvement out of Order

I guess they show different episodes from different seasons to give a sneak peek of what the show is like. Still, it is too much episodes being shoved down the throats of viewers.

Frankly I don't like watching multiple episodes a day or watching shows out of order....one of the reasons I hardly watch N@N.

Guys, in all honesty, I don't even know what the NAN sched looks like anymore. I have not watched that channel in over three months and I am the type of person that can tell you how long a show ran and when it aired. I am now turning to these other channels that air old and classic programming and watching TV ONE.

I love how someone finally mentioned HI and GL. To air a new show 4 times a night is just insane. When they brought shows like MB, DW, and MAY to the schedule, they were airing them just once a night. I'm already sick of GL, like many others, and HI I can watch on DVD, so I don't get the point of watching it so any times one NAN, out of order-LOL

As I've said before, I can't stand Sherri on the View. She's showing herself to be a loud mouth, unfunny, too wacky person for the show. I don't normally watch The View, but since TPiR is still on hiatus, I've been tuning in, and she seems to be going over the top for me.

How is HI doing in the ratings anyways? I mean it has been on forever on TBS...who is actually watching it on N@N when they can easily see it on TBS? Will HI top Fresh Prince?

I'm dying to know as well. I'm sure it isn't topping FP yet, but give it time.

It's funny you mentioned FP Irene, because there hasn't been too much complaining about it ever since George Lopez came-LOL. Seems the show is finally coming down to earth on NAN.

I really wonder how the ratings are doing for all three shows. You are right, I haven't heard a thing abt FP either. If anyone has the ratings can you post here?

Exactly, it is possible to be funny without acting like a fool. Did you see her fall on the floor when Martha Stewart appeared? Even my mom said-"It's time for her to go"-lol

The "overkill" is happening way too often with Nick at Nite. The Cosby Show, Roseanne, Fresh Prince, and now Home Improvement and George Lopez. I don't get why they feel the need to practically shove these shows down our throats.

I think it's fine to have 2 airings of a show each night, as long as it has 7 or more seasons. I prefer those "double takes" because it makes the cycle go by faster. Thank you Anchor Bay for the DVD's, because I wouldn't be able to handle waiting 9 or 10 months for Roseanne to start over again (by only airing 1 episode a night)...I do however think it's a bit much to have 2 airings of a show with only 5 or 6 seasons (The Fresh Prince & George Lopez)....So 2 airings is okay, IMO. 4 airings is just crazy!

Or if they are going to show 2 airings a night atleast spread them out a litte, one ep at 9pm and the other 2 hours later

I saw that, and was embarrassed to be watching it-LOL. I can understand she's trying to make an impression on the audience, but she's not funny, and she's making an image for herself as a fool. I think it is time for her to go.

Yeah, like on Friday nights, they have 1 episode of HI, then a half hour later, they have 2 more episodes. It makes no sense at all. If they were gonna fill they're sked with nothing but HI and Gl, they shouldn't have bothered to renew the contracts for Roseanne or Full House.

Maybe they only renewed Rosey and Full House as shows they could fall back on, in case Home Improvement or George Lopez failed. It's still early to see if the new shows did fail, but if they're bringing in big numbers, expect Roseanne and Full House to be gone by the new year. I don't think they would renew them with a long term contract. I could be wrong though....

I think having Home Improvement on at 9:00 and 9:30pm is fine....But there's absolutely no reason to have another round of "double takes" 2 or 3 hours later. That doesn't make any sense. I have a feeling you might be right about people getting sick of the new shows already. I wouldn't be surprised if George Lopez was only airing at 1 or 2am in a few weeks....I do however think Home Improvement will have a successful run on Nick at Nite, as did Roseanne and The Fresh Prince. For some reason, the overkill worked for those shows.

I agree, that double airing 3 hours in the future is very unnecessary.

I've tried to watch GL . . . I really did. I even missed a couple episodes of TWY at 10 for it. But, so far, the jokes have been lame, the writing has been poor, and the acting isn't good. I don't mean to be rude to GL fans, but the show does not fit NAN quality. I would much rather be watching a weekend marathon of Fresh Prince-LOL

It leads up later to the fact that the son has kidney problems, something George Lopez dealt with in his personal life. The doctor is played by the man who played Coach Reeves on the White Shadow, Ken Howard.

Well, some teens do that and others don't. I had too much respect to not do that in front of my family, but there are teens who are very affectionate with their counterpart. I don't agree with it, just saying that it happens.
