Two things I've always noticed in "The Homecoming," shown this morning:

Mrs. Trumbull filled the coat closet with newspapers while they were in Hollywood, and then miraculously the next morning the papers were gone!

When Lucy took Ricky's breakfast out of the oven, she used her bare hands! :lol:

Another thing I noticed is Lucy says they can get papers in Los Angeles, and Mrs. Trumball says, "Not the NY Papers." Lucy says, "That's true." But I distinctly remember one Hollywood episode when Ricky says he's going down to get the NY papers. Lucy probably just didn't want to hurt Mrs. Trumball's feelings.

You are right abt that newspaper thingy. You can easily get NY papers and all kinds of papers from different parts of the world in Los Angeles. Even in that era there were newspaper stands especially in the Hollywood and Sunset Blvd. areas. Silly goof. :crazy:
