Beckhams top 'Overrated 100' poll

The Beckhams have topped a magazine list of the most overrated celebrities.

The former England football captain and Spice Girl, who moved to LA earlier this year, were number one in Radar magazine's list of the 'Most Over-Hyped People on the Planet'.

Further down the list, there were spots for U2 singer Bono, artist Andy Warhol, chat show host Oprah Winfrey and Princess Diana.

Talking about the LA couple, the magazine described Victoria as a "pointless collection of body parts", while the LA Galaxy winger was dubbed an "overpaid soccer star".

I agree. The "Becks" are HIGHLY overrated. The worst part is that they don't do anything! He's an athlete...well so are thousands of other people. She's a model...well so are thousands of other people!...I would understand if she was "Posh Spice" again, but she's not, yet. The tabloids should pay less attention to them and more attention to people that actually do something, and deserve to be in the spotlight (Al Gore, Oprah Winfrey, Brad and Angelina, etc).

The people are right, he is the most overpaid soccer star and "Posh" spice needs a sandwich, love her style, she just needs a sandwich. But she's a sweetheart!

Considering they really have no talent (David hasn't exactly shown he has any in the states yet), I'm not arguing. But as far as the US, TomKat does take the cake. Two very annoying, untalented people.

Paris isnt even a celebrity in my eyes shes famous because of her family and hilton hotels, shes had everything on a plate she aint worked for stardom.

Since Dave's injuries will probably keep him off the field for the rest of the season and Posh's reality show was cancelled beforee it even debuted, thier grand introduction to the USA has been a big bomb.

I think that they have stayed together because of there status as "posh and becks" especially posh she would be nobody now if she hadnt of married david.

True, but if he actually played in a game or two this season after the Galaxy gave him a bazillion dollars, skeptical US sports fans would have at least seen him play.

yeah, exactly. they are just a pair of media whores who seek attention and of whom have very little in the way of talent. i also don't understand the attention given to the likes of tom cruise and katie holmes, justin, britney, paris, lindsay and all those other over publicised, overhyped celebs. i've never been a fan of a-list celebs myself as i think most of them are so far up their own arse and of whom think they deserve all the attention they receive when there are many others that are far more deserving and yet they and their good efforts of whom are almost virtually ignored by the press, in favour of the so-called popular celebs
