:brent

Ok Mikey, I am watching it right now. It is friggin' hilarious. The sarcasm, the quick one liners, it is all so funny. I was laughing when they were trying to decide whether it was grammatically correct to say, "a tax man" or "the tax man"... "Since we are talking abt a specific person, then THE TAX MAN is right." OMG I missed the first episode but according to the ticker at the bottom of the screen, we can see the episodes that were shown today ONLINE!!!!!!! www.superstationwgn.com  I happened to get home in time to see it.

I was distracted so I wasn't able to set up the vcr and put in the tape, but when soccer practice was cancelled, I ZOOMED HOME!

I'm not surprised that you like the Taxman , thats my all-time fave ep of the series....but not to worry, that doesnt mean its the only great one ;)

My fave line is from Oscar: "Hey idiot, you left the lid open on the dumpster last night, and theres crow crap everywhere! ... I'm not going to be the one on my hands and knees picking up crow crap!!! "

Man that episode was hilarious. I haven't had a chance to watch the episode I missed online. I have been busy. I just barely came here right now. I am exhausted. I had a long day and I may just be on here a short while.

But Corner Gas lived up to the expectations I had and from what you told me. It has no laugh track. Don't need one. I loved when the lady (forgot her name) was telling her old man where she was going to put the tax documents "just in case" and he was babbling on abt Al Capone, and all that stuff.

Im really thrilled that you enjoyed it, I know how great a show it is, but, I wasnt certain how the format would play in the States. the old woman, btw , is Emma ( Janet Wright ) who is Brent's Mom and wears the pants in the family! Dont you just love that overtly sensitive Taxman... "I'm not THE Taxman, I'm A taxman! A taxman!!!!"

Yeah, she sure seemed like the boss. I loved her. She is cute and funny. Brent with his straight face as he said these hilarious lines I think, is what makes what he says even funnier.
