Maybe-just maybe-TVLand is listening to we viewers.I forgot to add :Remember when TVLand, earlier this year, after a brief hiatus, said "The People Have Spoken" and returned "The Munsters" and "The Addams Family"to the schedule? They then played roulette with the shows, and by that I mean that they aired them in one time slot, then a few weeks later in another, and then a few weeks later to a new lot,and so on.Hopefully, with the acquiring "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Hogan's Heroes",this will not be the case. They'll stick the shows in one time slot AND LEAVE THEM THERE!!

Maybe there is a glimmer of hope after all. I won't believe it until I see it myself.

I am wondering if TV Land is going to share the Contract with WGN

that TV Land is going to show the same butchered episodes that WGN is showing and that they were showing before they took them off of the air. The ones TV Land will show have about 5 minutes worth of the show removed so that they can show more commercials. The aggravating thing is that TV Land is owned by Viacom (I believe) who are the same people who syndicate The Beverly Hillbillies. Why can't they TRULY listen to the people and show the FULL episodes like used to happen when they were syndicated?

I was wondering if The Beverly Hillbillies will air during The Daytime Prime Time or Late Night.

Great! I love the Hillbillies, although some of the episodes of the last year or two were not really funny (too much of the "Shorty" character). This is what TV Land should be showing are classic shows like this.

Does TVland get exclusive rights to a show....or can local stations make deals to show it too ? (I ask because I have been hoping that WWME in Chicago might get the Beverly Hillbillies someday.)

TV Land only has cable. Probably shared with WGN.

I think it will be a Shared Contract with WGN

I think someone else said this, but I hope those moronic programmers at TV Land put the Hillbillies on and leave it alone. They always take the good shows and change their schedule every hour so you never know when it airs. Hopefully, we can all live long enough to see the return of "The Lucy Show" and "The Carol Burnett Show" to TV Land and say bye-bye to that annoying Ty what's-his-name from the remodeling show that has no business on TV Land.

Nice - I don't get TV Land anymore, but I may go over to my grandparents house and tape the marathon.

'Hot Smoke and Sassafras!' TV Land Celebrates the New Year With 'The Beverly Hillbillies Best Dang New Year's Marathon' Beginning December 31

NEW YORK, Dec. 18 -- TV Land rings in 2008 with 27 hours of non-stop Clampett wackiness and Granny's unforgettable colloquialisms during "The Beverly Hillbillies Best Dang New Year's Marathon" beginning Monday, December 31, at 6:00PM (all times ET/PT). Viewers will be "happier than a cat at a fish fry" with episodes like "Jethro Goes to School" in which Max Baer, Jr. (Jethro) also plays Jethro's twin sister, Jethrine, in drag, and an appearance by the late Sharon Tate in "Possum Day" as Miss Hathaway's dark- headed assistant at the Commerce Bank.

As part of this celebration, TVLand.com will stream full episodes starting December 31, with weekly updates. The website will feature character bios, a comprehensive episode guide, and photo gallery.
TVLand.com visitors will also be able to test their 'hill-folk' knowledge with The Beverly Hillbillies trivia game.

The Beverly Hillbillies aired on CBS from 1962 - 1971. Accidentally discovering oil on their property, the newly rich Clampetts move to Beverly Hills where they find that their mountain lifestyle is quite different than that of their upper-class neighbors.
