That is scary dying on 9-11. His death is probably one of the most shocking in Hollywood.

I know it is. That and the fact that it was his daughter's birthday. Sad all around really.

This isn't stupid at all. It definitely is hard to believe that it's been 4 years. Sometimes, it feels like only yesterday that we lost him.

God, I still miss him. He was definitely the greatest comedienne while still alive. It's so sad to know he died so early. We probablywould have gotten more seasons of 8SR, and maybe even something else knowing John. He's stil greatly missed.

I miss him. But I'm pretty sure he lived his life to the fullest and had a great one with the short time he was granted. Here's to you John.

Of course it's not stupid. I miss him too. Some may think it's dumb since I never knew him personally, but being a fan and watching his work on TV makes you feel like you did know him. Miss ya, John.

It seems like yesterday, and it's still so hard to believe that he's gone. When he died, I was in a complete emotional turmoil because a family member of mine died four days before John. It was just a jumble of emotions for me.

I watch Three's Company whenever it's on, and was he ever handsome and talented. I watched the show during its original run, and I loved him back then.

The spooky thing is that one of the very best friends I ever had was a huge Three's Company fan and especially enjoyed Jack Tripper. In fact, it was the character who inspired him to go to culinary school and become a chef!! Sadly, my friend passed on suddenly and unexpectedly in August 2003...and exactly two weeks to the day, John Ritter passed away. The fact that JR died was shocking in and of itself, but in light of my loss - it was downright SPOOKY!! :rip: and God bless them both.

Ah, I still remember the day I found out he died, which was the day afterwards. Weird thing was that on the actual night that he died, I had a dream I had met him (I didn't know he had died yet).

It's hard to believe that it has been 4 years since John Ritter died. My sympathies goes out to his family and friends especially his youngest daughter who turned 5 on the day her dad died. Can you imagine? having your dad dying on your birthday?

We also must not forget is that 9/11 is also the aniversary when we were attacked in 2001 and lost 3000 Americans. May God Bless their souls and their families.

No, it's not stupid. I'll always miss him. I found out that he died the next day, I was getting up to go to work and my mother told me. I just couldn't believe it. I watched the news and there was his picture and 1948-2003 underneath it. I think I was in shock all day.

When I got home from work, I lit all my candles in my room for him. I also remember posting over in CC with the other fans.

It was so hard to watch 20/20 that night and then the episode of 8SR.

It was a sad day in entertainment when John passed away. I enjoyed him on '8 Simple Rules'. I was about to write to him to get an autograph just before I heard of his death. John was one of my favorite sitcom actors of all-time.

It's definitely not stupid to miss such a wonderful person and to recognize the anniversary of his death. I still remember when I found out just like it was yesterday. I was following my husband to the repair shop to drop off his car when I heard it on the radio. I started crying so hard! As soon as my husband saw me, he asked what was wrong. I had a horrible time telling him that John Ritter had passed away.

We miss you John! You're still the best. :)

I miss you still John. I can understand what you mean about crying. When I woke up the morning of his death it was all over the news. I cried all day long. I grew up on Three's Company and Jack was my favorite. I remember when they cancelled Three's Company back in 84 (I think) I remember crying to my mom because I thought that it meant that I would never see the show again. I was 10 years old. Thank God they invented syndication and eventually tv on dvd.
