TV Shows on DVD (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=8039) has just posted that Season Two will be coming to DVD on November 20, 2007. Universal has apparently leased the rights to another company.

This is GREAT news. I never thought they'd release it. I can't wait for this. The 2nd and 3rd seasons are my favorite.

Let there be extras and bloopers, please!! Like we saw in Charles In Charge on E! True Hollywood Story....I beg them to put those bloopers there. I especially cracked up when Callahan was distracted while giving a promo and Scott was fooling around on the set. :lol: I especially like the drag scene where Scott tries to kiss Willie, but Willie backs away.

That's good. The strange thing though is the other night on Amazon.com it had the season 2 listed as being $20.99, but then last night I looked and it listed it as $22.49. I gues Amazon decided that 20.99 was too good of a sale.

I'm glad Charles in Charge season 2 is coming out, I remember this version of the show, I love the Powell Family, they were the best family of the show. When I first saw Charles in Charge, it was in first-run syndication and I from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and it was on WPGH-Fox 53 which is Fox's affiliate station in Pittsburgh, I don't remember what time it came on, but I do remember Mama's Family was on the same station as Charles in Charge was on. I'm looking forward to getting this DVD when it comes out on November 20th.:)

660 minutes...how long is that for 26 syndicated episodes, anyway...:)BTW, that chain is missing his signature gold cross attached to it...just a little nitpick.

Very good! I will definitely buy it when it comes out. Hopefully, the episodes will be un-cut like they are with the first season DVD! I used to watch Charles in Charge when TBS played it in the early 90s & I never realized how much of the show I was missing until I got the DVD.

Yeah it's great seeing scenes that were never shown on the syndicated episodes. Many of the episodes had entire scenes that were cut out of the syndie run. It would bother me a little bit when I'd watch the syndie versions of some of the episodes and either see scenes in the credits that weren't on the show, or there'd be names in the credits of characters that weren't seen on the syndie versions.

I know what you mean friendsfan 77. The xmas ep in the closing credits always had a shot of Lila and Gwendolyn taking a picture with each other but was never seen in the syndicated eps but was in the dvd version.

There's also the episode "Charles' Spring Break" where the Patsy character is billed at the end credits but in the syndie cuts, the scene is missing. Glad this wasn't the case with the DVDs. They were truly a great investment.

About 25 minutes. I'm surprised they're that long considering this remainder seasons were in first-run syndication.

My issue with the season two cover is that Alexander Polinsky is missing from the front of the cover. I wish that people would get it right when doing these DVD covers. Gwendolyn is missing from the first season cover while Adam is missing from the second.

It gave now it is aprox. 12 hours, according to TVshowsondvd.com....is that the same as 660 minutes?
