...in Adrian Peterson. 19 carries and 103 yds and 1 reception for 60 yds. The kid has Rookie of the Year written all over him.

I am talking about Peterson alone. Forget about Harrington. The guy still looks to be legitimate.

I'm really glad they disregarded his injury problems when they drafted him. He's been NFL-ready since he was a freshman at Oklahoma. Definitely the most exciting player we've had since getting rid of Moss.

yea he's my pick for rookie of the year. He's gonna tear up that back field. Could the Vikings possibly challenge the bears for the NFC North??

I need everyone to relax and see how this guy is looking a month from now

If Tarvaris Jackson can be efficient and take care of the ball, they might have a chance. But that's a big IF. That said, I'd be pretty surprised if they finish above .500.

With running backs, you either have it or you don't and this guy seems to have it.

But Atlanta is not known for having a good run defense. Now if he does that against the bears then you may be on to something

They did have the 9th best rush defense in the league last year..but yeah, the Bears games this year will be real interesting to see.

Not only that, but I am not sole on the Bears.

Keep in mind that the Bears were playing a team today on the Road that was supposed to be in the SB last year. I still think no NFC East team will beat Chicago this year. Their defense is too strong

I wish I could be this optimistic, but I don't think they will. I don't think Jackson is good enough yet as a quarterback. But, I don't think 2nd place will be a problem, though.
