"I Love Lucy" is still living on after 50 years. The cast and production crew were outstanding. I was wondering who was still alive to witness this phenomenon. The ones I think are still alive are:

Keith Thibodeaux
Madelyn Pugh Davis
Bob Schiller
William Asher

Can anyone verify this or add to the list?

The ones I know are gone: Jess Oppenheimer, Karl Freund, Bob Carroll Jr., Bob Weiskopf, Bud Molin, Eliot Daniel, Wilbur Hatch, Marc Daniels, Ralph Levy, James V. Kern, Sidney Hickox, Eloise Jensson, Max Factor, Argyle Nelson and Cam McCulloch. And of course the foursome.

The ones I'm not sure about: Dann Cahn, Hal King and Glen Glenn (I have a feeling they're gone too).

The one that comes to mind very easily for me is costume designer Eloise Jenssen. I loved seeing her designs and costumes. She made thee most beautiful evening gowns, dresses that I have ever seen. I guess ILL being the first show that exposed me to such fashions makes Eloise a standout for me when it comes to "behind the scenes" of ILL. Here is a link where it states her date of death in 2004. Only three years ago.

I have autographs from both Keith Thibodeaux and Bill Asher! :D KT's autobiography, Life After Lucy, is one of the best celebrity autobiographies I've ever read. Every Lucy fan owes it to themselves to read it! :D

Whoa! How did you get those autographs! Were they both together at the same place/time?

Thanks for the tip on Keith's book. I am reading The Other Side of Ethel Mertz right now. It is not as enjoyable as Lucy's book. An autobiography always has a different tone than a biography.

I also throughly enjoyed Keith Thibodeaux's autobiography. He offers an interesting insider's look at Lucy and Desi through a child's eyes. He also writes of how he beat the odds with his own alcohol and drug abuse.

If you're counting recurring characters, Doris Singleton who played Caroline Appleby is still alive.

No, I didn't see them in person. I wrote them both letters and sent them c/o Lucy-Desi Museum in Jamestown, NY. I added a self-addressed, stamped envelope and an index card with both letters. They both sent the autographs quickly. Here's the address of the Lucy/Desi Museum. Good luck!
