follow the show from season 1 starting next week. It's watchable and gave me a few chuckles during the week and so far I like the characters, AL, the oldest son, and the Wife. Can any confirm if the show is starting from the beginning on Monday?

Theyr'e not, according to their schedule. Monday and Tuesday are random season 2 episodes, then they're airing random season 3 episodes. Too bad they're skipping season. They haven't aired it at all yet.

Well I'm not watching any more eps until they start from the beginning. I can't get into a new show by watching random eps

Glad you like the show so far, Solomon. Home Improvement was my favorite show during my middle school years (I started middle school right as the show was starting in 1991!). Al is probably my favorite character. His love of flannel was always good for a laugh.

Was AL the same during the entire series? Did he have the Beard the during the run of the show?

He did shave it for one episode though. In the episode "Tool Time After Dark" from season 4, Tim watches the pilot episode of Tool Time, which features Tim with the beard and Al with a clean shaven face!

I wish they would show season 1. That's my favorite season! I'm not sure what their reasoning is behind not showing it. Doesn't make any sense to me.

You'd think the first episode they'd show would be the Pilot. They haven't even shown that, yet they have all these ads showing scenes from the pilot-LOL. Season 1 was one of my favorite seasons, so I wish they'd go in order and show it first.

Al actually shaved his beard for a season 3 episode (forget the name), and that scene was shown during the season 4 "Tool Time After Dark" Clip show.

I think the season 3 episode you're thinking of is called "Fifth Anniversary." I think that's the one where Tim doesn't have enough money to take the show to Indy, so he shows the first episode of Tool Time.

That's the one. Definitely a classic episode of the series.
