Hi, fans. I also loved "Saved By the Bell" but haven't seen it in quite some time. Could you refresh my memory about the character, Screech. Wasn't he "innocent," in a way, the "odd-man out?" What was he basically like? Also, what was he like in terms of romance/romantic interest. Did he like/love any girls? How did he act? Did he have any dates/girlfriends? Thanks so much for your help!!

Screech in the first few episodes of the series was straight out hilarious. By the end of the show, he was just pathetic (but then again, so is the actor who portrayed him.) He was definitely the odd-man out, in a way. But he always in the in-group with the popular kids, Lisa, Zack, Kelly, Jessie, and Slater.

About his romance... he had one serious girlfriend--Violet Bickerstaff (played by Tori Spelling.) The relationship lasted about 4 episodes. Besides that he only managed to sneak in a few dates with Lisa and of course, Zack in drag. Oh, I shouldn't forget about Soleil Moon Frye's character--some gold digger trying to play Yoko in the gang's spaghetti sauce business.

Anyhow, YouTube is amazing. They have several clips which will help refresh your memory. Plus the entire series is on DVD and some episodes are available on iTunes and in a few months, Amazon Unbox.

good description. but there is a little more then that to screech. during collage he went on a work study program to Bayside high and was Mr. Belding's administrative assistant and then worked there

^I was never a big fan of the "Screech" character (or Dustin in particular,) plus I never watched any of the New Class episodes.
