Dose Anyone Agree That The Jeffersons Had A Better Esemble Cast Then All IN the Family?

yeah much bigger cast i know that all in family just had 4 ppl jeffersons had better cast and much indeep storylines comdy and dramadic

yeah, the ensemble cast was much better in The Jeffersons. Their actors were much were in depth, plus they allowed all the actors to have a fair share of lines in each episode, which was harder to do in The Jeffersons than it was to do in All in the Family, considering the cast was much bigger.

Also the cast had a very strong synergy- probably offscreen as well- notice how many of the supporting players left for chunks of time and were allowed/invited to come back and pick up where they left off.

You're right. Both Mike Evans and Paul Benedict left by choice, then were allowed to come back to the show. All the actors obviously got along with one another.

IMO, it was a dead heat. Both had varied stimulating casts and both shows WERE VERY WELL DONE and gave us intelligent seasoned humor; this is probably why both ran for many seasons, and are still so popular today.
