In the opening scenes of every episode, toward the end of season 1 they started using that Golden Girls style intro for the opening scene. The first dozen or so episodes had that bouncy tune, but then toward the end of the season they used the theme song like opening scene intro and then it went into music that sounded like it came from Golden Girls.
Did the same people who did the music on Benson do Golden Girls? I would guess so, because it was produced by the same people.

You're both right. Harris/Witt/Thomas were the creators/producers of both Benson & GG, as well as Soap and Empty Nest. That's why they all have similar music, graphics, etc.

And the typical old Witt/Thomas/Harris Clarendon font, too.
Nurses also used some of the same typical W/T/H package for the first 2 seasons but drifted away from that in S3.
With the 3rd season of "Nurses," they changed the fonts to a double-combo font in the closing credits. Impace font for production crew job title names and Century Gothic for the crew people and staff names.
Even the intro credits on Nurses drifted away from the typical W/T/H package as did the production job titles and crew staff names.

Hmmmm....didn't Benson come before the Golden Girls? If it did then you'd have to say the opposite: that there was Benson music in the Golden Girls. :D

My guess would be the music was created by the same people and that explains the similarity in the sound. :music: :guitar:
