Ok, watching these episodes again after so many years I can't help but notice how much the Laurie character seems to snicker, be smart-aleck, etc. I have watched this show in syndication many times but seeing it now, it just seems that I may have overlooked this trait of the character. She was always trying to put Keith in his place or even Danny. These were her brothers and she wasn't a little kid. I can see this coming from maybe the two youngest kids but not a girl who is almost 18 years of age. It just seems more often than not that Laurie is pressing some issue, being snooty, snickering and almost always trying to be a smart-a$$.
