Actually, Alice's bedroom is downstairs off the laundry room. In "To Move or Not to Move," it seems like she's upstairs because Bobby and Cindy go past her door in sheets, as if going down a hallway.

When Alice screams, everyone in the living room looks toward the kitchen. Then Bobby and Cindy appear from the kitchen.

I think it's downstairs in both cases, but for some reason in the later episode, the laundry room outside her door was replaced with a hallway.

Maybe there's a secret hallway we did not know about.
