Chapter 1

Am I going to do it? Jo Polniaczek asked herself.
She looked into the low lit,fancy restaurant at the blur of people eating, calming children,and happily talking to friends and family while having dinner.
Of course I am,Jo decided,a smile spreading across her face to hide her nervousness.Once I get something on my mind,I always go through with it.Only this time it wasen't
her idea.
Why did she have to make that stupid deal with Blair?She wouldn't be proving anything.Or would she?
She remembered the fight she had had with Blair only two days ago.It was a dumb fight.
"I can do anything you can do,Blair!"Jo had said,only to regret it later.
"Oh really?Prove it."Blair shot back.
"How do you want me to do that?"
"Go on a date with a friend of mine.A blind date.At that new restaurant."
"No way.I don't do blind dates."
"Your scared.Your afraid that you'd make a fool of yourself and you know it.'
"Oh no I'm not.I'll do it.This Friday."
A man walks up to Jo,taking her from her thoughts."Miss?Can I help you with anything?"
Jo looks at him and smiles again."Yes,I'm meeting someone.Only I don't know who he is."
"A young gentlmen came in a moment ago and said the same thing.Come with me."He leads her to a table in the far corner where a very hansome,blonde,rich looking guy is sitting,rubbing his hands nervously."Here you go miss."
"Thank you."Jo walks up to the boy and asks,"Are you Blair's friend?"
He looks up and smiles at her."Yes.You must be Jo."
"You got it."Jo says and sits down.
"You look awsome."He says sort dazed. "Sorry.I'm Andrew."
"Charmed I'm sure.Where's the bathroom? I...I have to go powder my nose."Jo lies but says in a polite voice.
Andrew points across the room."Right over there."
When Jo gets to the bathroom she looks at herself in the mirror.She's wearing a beautiful,long,blue dress that Blair
picked out for her and makeup which Blair also made her put on.Makeup!"This is so not me",Jo says out loud to herself and then checks her hair.She has on a headband with the bottom of her hair curled up.I actually look pretty good...I can do this,Jo smiles and walks out.
Chapter2
The girls room is quiet as Blair Warner paces back and forth,checking her watch every other minute.Tootie Ramsey and Natalie Green look up from their game.
"They're probaly just having a good time,Blair."Natalie says a bit annoyed with her pacing."Would you just come play the game with us and stop thinking about them?"
Blair looks at them and sighs.They should be back by now,she thinks to herself. Andrew's probably being bored
to death by Jo.Either that or laughing his head off at her manners.She'll never make-
"Jo only left a half an hour ago.She probably won't be back for a while."Tootie interupts her thoughts.
Blair shakes her head."She'll never make it.She doesn't belong at that restaurant and she knows it.Did you even see her befor she left?All dressed up...I even did her makeup for her."
Natalie's eyes go wide."Jo wearing makeup and a dress?"She starts laughing and Tootie giggles."I didn't get to see here befor she left but I will definitly take a peek at her when she gets home."
Tootie nodds in agreement."Yeah...and if she looks like I think she'll look,I'll be ready with my camera when she gets here.It's not often you see Jo in a dress and makeup on."
Natalie hops up and says to Tootie,"Grab your camera.We can finish the game downstairs while we wait for Jo to get home."
"Okay!"
Chapter3
Jo and Andrew have finished there supper and are putting on their coats.They had a quiet dinner.The food was great and Jo was pretty full.
"I'm sorry I was bad company tonight.I would like to get to know you better.I just wasen't sure you felt the same way."Andrew says not looking Jo in the eye.
Jo looks at him surprised by his forwardness."I'm sorry too and I do feel the same way.I'm just not used to going on blind dates with...Blair's friends."
Andrew follows Jo outside and is shocked by the warmth."How about you and I go for a walk.We'll just talk for awhile and then come back her for our cars."
"Motorcycle."Jo corrects him."You know...I'm not who I apear to be.I'm not into makeup or dresses and I'm not filthy rich.I want you to know that befor you get any ideas."
"Yeah...same here.I'm not into dresses either.They make my butt look big and I just can't figure out makeup."He smiles and looks at Jo.She laughs and smiles back at him.
He's got a sense of humor,I'll give him that.He's not bad looking either.I wonder if we'll ever have any kind of relationship,Jo wonders to herself.She smiles to herself and thinks,I sure hope so...
(Later that night)
"I win again!"Blair says happily.Natalie and Tootie sigh.
Tootie puts her head in her hand and says, "That's the third time!Gee,Blair,this was fun and all but I'm going to bed."
Natalie nods and looks at her watch. "Yeah, it's already 10:30.Time sure flies when your having fun."She says kinda tired with a yawn.
Blair's head shoots up."10:30?!"She says wide eyed.
Natalie nods."Yes,Blair.10:30."She stands up and Tootie does the same.
Blair grabs Tootie's camera."Does this ring any bells?"She asks holding it up.
Tootie and Natalie's eyes grow wide and they look at each other.They quickly sit back down.Natalie looks at Blair."Jo should have been back by now.There's no way she could stay out all night in a dress."
They all turned shocked at Jo as she walks in and says,"It was hard but I survived."She smiles and walks in."And you have no idea how hard it is to drive a motorcycle dressed like this."
Everyone just looks at her for a moment. Suddenly Tootie jumps up and grabs her camera."Smile Jo!" She snaps a picture of her and giggles.
Blair looks angry."Where have you been?"
Jo smiles."Sorry,Mom!"She says sarcasticaly."Me and Andrew just went for a walk after we finished eating and talked. Just lost track of time is all."
"Y-You mean you had a...good time?"Blair stutters.
Jo walks past them and goes to the kitchen where she turns back and looks at them."Yes, Blair.I had a good time.He's nice."She smiles and looks down.Very nice,she thinks to
herself.Realizing that Mrs.Garrett wasen't around to yell at her for being late she looks back up and asks,"Where's Mrs.Garrett? She usually waits up if any of us goes out."
Natalie stands up by Tootie."She had to go cater a party that Mr.Parker is having for his wife.She should be home any time now." She motions for Tootie to follow her as she
walks around the table to join Jo."So tell us everything.Is he cute?Are you in love? What did you talk about?" Their voices fade off as they go into the kitchen and up to
their room.
What happened?Blair asks herself.Jo actually had a good time with my friend!I hope she realizes what she's getting
herself into...
She stands up,goes upstairs,and goes to sleep after listening Jo tell Tootie and Natalie about her "great blind date".

Chapter4
Saturday morning,the girls all wake to the sound of Blair's alarm clock.They all sleepily sit up as Blair hits the botton to turn it off.
"What time is it?"Asks a half asleep Tootie.
Blair looks at her clock and groans."Only 8:30."
Jo glares at her."Why did you set your alarm for 8:30?
I was kinda hoping to sleep in."
Natalie throws off her covers."I set her alarm.When you guys fell asleep I went downstairs to get something to drink and Mrs.Garrett was just getting home.She had a bunch of dishes,silverware and other stuff that needed to be cleaned.I thought we could all get up early,do the dishes,and go out and do something together afterword."
Tootie looks at her and shakes her head."You know I love you Nat,but never get me up early on a Saturday to do dishes."
"Same here."Jo says and lyes back down,ready to fall asleep.
"Yeah,I need my beauty sleep."Blair says. "But I guess I can loose an hour.I'm awake now anyway."Blair says and
stands up.
Nat smiles and looks at Tootie.Tootie groans but finally gives in."Fine.Aren't you going to help out too,Jo?"She asks as she gets out of bed and streches,but gets nothing
in response.
Blair looks at Jo,smiles and laughs."She already fell back asleep.Let's let her sleep."She looks back up at the other girls and walks to the bedroom door."She probably
needs it after last night."They all smile and walk out the door.

Down in the kitchen Mrs.Garrett is quietly humming to herself,obviously in a good mood.The sun is leaking into the room, spreading warmth everywhere.
Mrs.Garrett looks up from her newspaper when she heres the girls coming down into the kitchen."Good morning girls!"
They smile at her."Good morning Mrs.G."Blair says."We're gonna have some cereal and then we'll do the dishes for you."
"Maybe we can all go see a movie when we're done."Nat says.If we get done,Nat thinks when she takes a look at the dishes.
"Do any of you want anything with your cereal?I can make some toast."Mrs.Garrett asks them but they all shake their heads. "Okay.Where's Jo?"She asks,noticing not all the girls were there.
Nat goes to the cupboard ready to get out the cereal and turns to look at Mrs.Garrett. "She went back to sleep and we didn't want to wake her up.What's do you guys want?"
Natalie asks showing the other two girls their choices.
"I'll just have...Cheerios I guess."Blair says and looks at her nails,admiring her work.
"Me too."Tootie says getting out spoons and grabbing the sugar."Could you get out the milk Blair?"
"Yep."Blair replies,walking to the fridge and getting out the milk.
Mrs.Garrett picks up her paper and wlks over to the girls."Can I join you?"
"Of course,Mrs G."Nat says with smile.She gets out the cereal and they walk into empty cafeteria,except for two other girls sitting in the corner having breakfast,gossiping.
"So...?"Mrs Garrett asks sneekily,hoping to get info on Jo's date.
"Sooo what?"Nat asks her sitting down along with everyone else.
"So how did Jo's blind date go last night?Did she survive? Or didn't she say anything?"
Tootie smiles and is about to tell her when Blair laughs and interupts her."Silly me,I forgot to get us bowls.You can't have cereal without a bowl.I'll go get them."She stands up and quickly walks into the kitchen.
Tootie watches her leave then looks at Natalie and Mrs.Garrett."I wonder what's wrong with her...Oh!Anyway,did you know that Blair made Jo wear a dress?And she even did
her makeup for her!Jo looked pretty good."
Mrs.Garrett's smile fades."Oh,I wish I could have gotten a chance to see her."
"Oh you will."Nat says."Tootie took a picture of her when she came home.Jo told us that Andrew was pretty good looking himself and that he had a great personality.They
actually went for a long walk after dinner and they talked and talked.I think she likes him."
Blair walks in with 4 bowls and hands them out."Sorry about that."
Mrs Garrett looks at her with worry showing on her face."Why did you walk out like that,Blair?Is something bothering you?"
Blair sits down andsays,"No,nothing." Seeing that no one was buying it she cleared her that and looked down at her hands."Well, I had Jo go on a blind date with Andrew because I didn't think she would like him.I mean she's into guys who have motorcycles and stuff like that.But instead the opposite happened.She likes him.I'm just worried that...that he'll do what he always does."
"What does he always do?"Mrs.Garrett asks confused.
Blair looks at her."Well...after he and his date have a really good time,going to movies,out to dinner,he goes and finds someone else.I've known him for a long time so I know.The longest he's ever been with someone,was for 3 weeks.I just don't want the same thing to happen to Jo."
"Your gonna have to tell Jo,Blair."Mrs.G says.
"I know...but how?"
"You'll figure something out."
Chapter5
Blair,Tootie and Natalie are in the kitchen,doing dishes,talking about what they have planned for the weekend when Jo comes downstairs all dressed.She grabs down her apron from the hook,puts in on and says good morning to everyone.
Blair looks up and quietly says,"Good morning,Jo."
Tootie and Natalie look up also."Good morning."they say in unision.
Jo walks over to them ready to help."Thanks for letting me sleep in and sorry for falling asleep.So...what can I do?"
Natalie smiles at her."You can help me dry the dishes.Everything is almost done already though."
"Sorry."Jo says with a guilty smile.
"It's ok,Jo."Tootie says."You wanna go with us to the movies when we're done with the dishes?Mrs.Garrett is going to come too."
Jo nodds,"Sure.What are we gonna see?"
"That new comedy movie.It's supposedly really good."Nat says.
Good,I was afraid they'd say a love story, yuck,Jo thinks to herself with a smile.

Once everyone was done with the dishes they all got ready and were off to the movie.When they were finally there they bought their tickets,sodas and candy.Everyone except Blair went in and found seats,saving one for when Blair got back.
Blair smiles and waves at people she knows as she walks toward the bathroom.When saying hello to a friend from school,she bumps into someone.
"Oh!I'm sorry I-"Blair stops and looks up at the boy.Recognizing who is it she happily says,"Andrew!How are you?"
"I'm fine,Blair.How are you?"Andrew asks, happy to see a familiar face.
"Just great."she smiles."So I heard you and Jo hit it off last night."
"Yeah.She's great.I had a lot of fun.Who are you here with?"
"My friends Natalie,Tootie,Mrs.Garrett,and Jo."
"Oh really?I'm here alone.So,what did Jo think of me?Does she like me?"
Blair's smile vanishes."Yes,Andrew,she likes you a lot.She thinks your a great guy."She says a little angry.
"Why don't you seem happy about that?"He asks confused.
"Because I'm not.I know what you do to every girl you date.They fall in love with you and dump them.You use them,Andrew,and I don't want you to hurt Jo like that.Your
a great guy and all but-"
"Stop,Blair.I like Jo.A lot.I won't do that to her.She's different then all the other girls I've dated.They were all...rich,way into their looks,and were never themselves.
All they did was try to impress me.Jo's not like that at all.She doesn't care how she looks.She acts like herself and I like that."
"Right."Blair says,still beleiving that he's going to break Jo's heart.
Just then Jo comes walking out and sees Blair and Andrew.She smiles and walks up to them."Hey,Andrew."
"Hey,Jo."
Jo turns to Blair."Mrs.Garrett sent me looking for you."She turns back to Andrew. "How are you?"
"I'm fine and you?"He grins big and rocks back and forth on his feet.
"Hangin' in there.What movie are you here to see?"Jo asks him trying to keep conversation light.Then she regrets it when she remembers the other movie playing is "Puppy Love",a little kid movie about two puppies who fall in love.
Embarassed she holds up her hand befor he can say anything."Never mind...The comedy right?"
He laughs."Yeah.I heard it as really good and I wanted to see for myself."
Blair angrily glares at him but then smiles to cover it up."I'll leave you two alone. "She walks past them and into the bathroom.
"What were you guys talking about?Blair seemed kinda mad about something."Jo asks, knowing something is up.
"Nothing.Hey,you wanna sit with me while we watch the
movie?"
"Yeah,that'd be great.Let me tell-" Mrs.Garrett comes walking out,spots Jo,and walks over to her."Mrs.Garrett."Jo finishes. "Andrew,this is Mrs.Garrett.Mrs.Garrett,this
is Andrew."
Andrew holds out his hand to Mrs.G and they shake."Nice to meet you.Jo's told me a lot about you."
Mrs Garrett blushes."It's nice to meet you too.From what I've heard about you,you seem like a very nice boy."She says lying, remembering what Blair had told them that morning.
He smiles big again."Yeah."He jokes and looks around pretending to be embarassed.
She giggles and then remembers why she came out there in the first place."Where is Blair?"Mrs.G asks Jo.
"Oh,she went into the bathroom.She'll be out in a minute.Can I sit with Andrew while we watch the movie?"
"Of course you can.Come in and I'll get you your stuff."she says and Blair walks out. "There you are!"
"Yes,here I am!"Blair says with a grin.
Chapter6
The movie was good.Everyone enjoyedit.Maybe a little to much,Blair frowned.She had watched Jo and Andrew,only 3 rows in front of her.They had laughed,talked quietly,and
at one point,had a small popcorn fight.Why is he doing this?She asked herself.Maybe he really does like Jo.I guess I'll just have to wait it out and see.
Blair adjusted her coat befor gathering her soda and candy wrappers.Everyone walks out, commenting to each other about the movie.
"I thought it was really great!"Nat says to Tootie.
Tootie replies,"Yeah.That Becky girl is an awsome actress.What did you think,Blair?"
"What?Sorry...I was just thinking."Blair confesses.
"She wouldn't know.She was to busy watching Jo and Andrew."Nat whispers.
Blair looks at them."I heard that...and I did too watch the movie.I happen to think it was a very nice film."
Mrs.Garrett shakes her head."And it was.Why don't you girls go get in the car."She says handing Blair the keys so they could get in."I'll go see if Jo's coming home with
us.I'll be right out."
The girls go on ahead as Mrs.Garrett looks around for Jo.After everyone was done piling out of the theatre and there was no sign of Jo or Andrew,Mrs.Garrett decided to see if they were still in there.
Sure enough when Mrs.Garrett looked in,Jo and Andrew were there.Only they were doing something she hadn't expected.

Jo watched as Mrs.G and the other girls walked out of the movie theatre along with all the other people who came to see the comedy.Jo stood up and Andrew did the same,helping Jo with her coat.He then put on his own,not wanting his time here with Jo to end.
Picking up their things,they start walking out into the aisle."Shoot,"Jo says frustrated when she drops her empty cup of soda.At the same time,Jo and Andrew bend down and both grab the cup."Thanks."Jo says in half whisper as she looks into Andrew's eyes.
They lean in close to each other and share a kiss.When they part,Jo smiles and then looks up when she sees Mrs.G.When Andrew also sees her they both stand up quikly.
"I'm coming Mrs.G!"She looks back at Andrew."The movie was great.I had fun."
"Yeah,me too."Andrew replies."Hey,you better be going.I don't want to get you into trouble."
"Okay.I'll see you later"and with that and a smile,Jo walks off with Mrs.G,leaving Andrew there thinking to himself.
"See you later,Jo."He says out loud after Jo is gone.Seeing that he's the only one in the room,he quikly walks out to go home.

Chapter7
"How was it?"Mrs.Garrett asks Jo with a nudge as they walk to the car where everyone else is already buckled in.
Jo looks at her confused."How was what?"
"The kiss.Was it nice?"Mrs.G teases.
"It was nice,Mrs.G.He's a good kisser.End of story."
Mrs.g makes a pouty face and says kidding, "Fine then."They both get into the car.
"I think they look cute together-Oh,hey Jo!"Tootie says and grins at her."Enjoy the movie?"Jo just glares at her then looks out the window.Tootie leans over to Natalie and whispers,"She enjoyed it." Natalie nodds.

The next week and a half went by quikly.Jo had at least talked to Andrew every other day.They were having so much fun together. Blair was actually starting to believe that
Andrew might actually be in love.They might actually might be right for each other,she thought.
It was finally Friday.The girls classes were over they cleaned the dishes,did there homework and decided to just chill out in there room for a while befor dinner.
Nat and Tootie are playing cards,Blair organizing her makeup bag,and Jo is reading a magazine.Jo was supposed be getting ready to go out with Andrew to dinner but he had called it off an hour earlier due to a change in his plans.He had said,"Something suddenly came up,"and that they could go some other time and that he'd call her later.
He never really said what he was up to.He would have told me if it was important,she thought.But he wouldn't have called off our date if it wasen't.
Trying to read her magazine was hopeless.Jo couldn't stop thinking of Andrew and why he had to cancel and she couldn't focus on the words.
Jo put down her magazine and decided she'd take a walk and try to get Andrew off her mind.She looked around the room at the others."Anyone want to go for a walk?It's to
boring just lying around in here."
Blair looked up from her makeup and shook her head."I have a date tonight.Thanks for reminding me.I need to go get ready."She grabs her stuff and walks into the bathroom,
closing the door behind her.
"Sorry,Jo.We're gonna help Mrs.Garrett get dinner ready.Mostly everyone is going somewhere with someone tonight so Mrs.Garrett isen't gonna make a huge supper. So maybe we can after that."Nat says and goes back to her game.
"Nah,that's okay.I wanted to go out now.I kinda wanted to be by myself anyhow."She stands up and picks up here coat which fell on the floor."I'll see you guys later."She waves at Natalie and Tootie and walks out the door to find Mrs.G and inform her about her plans.
Jo ends up finding Mrs.Garrett in the kitchen baking some cookies."Hey,Mrs.G.I'm gonna go take a walk.That okay?"
"Fine by me.Just make sure you come back soon.It's supposed to rain later."Mrs. Garrett says mixing the cooking dough.
"Okay.See you later!"
"See ya!"Mrs.Garrett says waving the spoon back and forth,flinging some dough on the floor."Darn it!"

It was getting dark as Jo finished her burger.She threw away her garbage and left the tray with the others.Putting back on her coat she walks out the door.
I better hurry home.It looks like it's gonna start raining any minute,Jo thinks to herself.Oh well,a little rain never hurt any body.
Deciding to take a shortcut through the park,Jo starts walking a little faster.After a few minutes,she feels the first rain drop and it's starts up pretty quickly.
I guess they realized too,Jo thinks when she sees a boy and girl jump up from a bench.The boy gives the girl his coat and puts his arm around her,turning her towards Jo.
How sweet,Jo smiles,when the girl puts her arms around the boy.Then Jo realizes who it is."Andrew."she whispers.Who's that girl?Why is she hugging him and smiling at him like that?
Jo's heart sinks as she watches them.Shaking her head she turns and runs home the long way not wanting Andrew to see
her.
How could he do this to me?I really liked him.Maybe even loved him.I was so happy when I was with him.He told me he was to.Was it all a lie?It had to be if he's seeing her
behind my back.All these thoughts raced through Jo's mind as she ran home.
Then suddenly she remembered Blair's reaction to Andrew's canceling the date.She acted like she knew something.So had everyone else.They knew something she didn't know about Andrew.They would have told her if they knew he was seeing someone else.Even Blair would have.
Maybe it had to do with that talk Blair had had with him at the movies.She had looked so upset.Then Jo decided to have a little chat with Blair when she got home.
Chapter8
As Natalie and Tootie were finishing cleaning up the tables Blair came walking into the cafteria.
"Why home so soon,Blair?"Natalie asks wiping off a table.
Blair sits down at the table Natalie's working at and says,"The film broke and we didn't get to see the whole movie.Then when we got to that new restaurant there were
no open tables.So we gave up and he took me home."
Tootie walks over to them."Blair,just one question.Who is we and he?"
"Oh,I didn't tell you?Well,he is Brian Sharp."She smiles and flips her hair.
Natalie's mouth drops open."The basketball player over at Bates?"
Blair plays with her hair some more."Yep."
"The really cute one?"
"Yep!"
"No fair!"Nat says and goes back to washing the tables.
"Our date is rescheduled for tomorrow."
Blair says and gets up."Need any help?"
Tootie shakes her head."Nope,we're done."She says taking the dishes into the kitchen as Mrs.Garrett comes out.
"Hello,Blair.What happened to your date?"Mrs.Garrett asks suprised to see Blair home early.
"Oh,Brian and I had to reschedule our date because the film broke and then the restaurant was full."Blair replies with a shrug.
"That's too bad.Have either of you two seen Jo?She went out for a walk and now it's pouring outside."She asks Blair and Natalie. She gets two shaking heads in reply.
"Sorry."Natalie says walking into the kitchen with Tootie.
"Well,let me know when she gets here."Blair nodds and Mrs.Garrett goes into the kitchen.
Blair stands up and takes off her coat.She turns around when she hears Jo walk in."Jo!Your soaking wet!"Jo just looks at her like she just noticed her standing there.
"What happened to you?"
Jo walks over to Blair leaving a wet trail behind her."I saw...Andrew..."She starts.
"Wow,Jo.Sit down and catch your breath." Blair sits down Jo and then sits down beside her.She looks and sounds like she ran here from the Bronx!Blair thinks silently."Then
tell me what happened."
Jo takes a deep breath then lets it out slowly."Okay...I was about to take a short cut home when it started to rain and I saw Andrew with another girl.I got all upset and ran home the other way."
"You ran all that way?"Blair asks shocked.
Jo nodds."Like I said I was upset."Who wouldn't be?Jo asks herself angrily.He's a jurk.A lieing jurk.A lieing jurk who I happen to like a lot.
Blair's jaw drops."He was with another girl?"She looks away."He lied to me.The creep."She says under her breath.
Jo looks at her confused and shivering from the coldness of the rain."What do you mean he lied to you?" Blair doesn't answer her."Blair?What did you mean?!"Jo asks loudly
getting angry all over again.
"I guess I'll tell you what I told everyone else."She looks down at the ground as she tells Jo the whole story about why she set Jo up with Andrew and the talk they had at the movies.
"So you expected this all along and you didn't even warn me about him?"Jo glares at Blair.
Blair shakes her head."No.I didn't think he was lieing to me.He sounded so serious."
Jo stands and pushes her chair in angrily,startling Blair."You still could have told me,Blair!I really liked him and if you had told me it wouldn't have hurt so much!"Jo says loudly holding back tears. Tears of mixed feelings. Sad,hurt,confused, anger.Jo felt like hitting Blair just then. How couldn't Blair have told her?
Blair finally looks up into Jo's eyes and feels a sharp sting of guilt in the pit of her stomach."I'm sorry,Jo.I really am."She says with meaning.

Okay...because I don't like leaving a fan fic unfinished I'm gonna finish this one.I'm working on a few other stories so I'll try and post them soon too.I'll stop babbling now and let you read the story....

Chapter9
Mrs.Garrett walks into the cafeteria after hearing Jo yell."Jo!I knew I heard you.Your soaked!Where have you been?"
"Nowhere."Jo says still glaring at Blair.
"Are you alright?"Mrs.Garrett asks concerned.
Jo looks at Mrs.Garrett and walks toward her."Yeah,I'm fine."
Mrs.Garrett motions for Jo to follow her."Come on.Let's go ring you out."Jo smiles and follows her out of the room leaving Blair by herself.

The next day was a quiet one.Jo hadn't told anyone one else about the night befor and she didn't plan on telling them any time soon.For all she knew Blair could have told them behind her back.She did it befor.
Blair still felt bad about not warning Jo.She was scared too.What would everyone else think when they found out I didn't tell Jo about Andrew's bad habit?She did know they'd be mad.She said she'd tell Jo but she didn't and Jo got hurt.All Blair wished was that Jo would talk to her.Tell her it was okay,that she forgived her.But Blair knew that wasen't going to happen.
Mrs.Garrett knew from the minute she heard Jo yelling at Blair that something was wrong with her.She kept her mouth shut about it though.She hated the quiet of them not talking and not knowing why.She'd have to talk to them sooner or later.
Tootie definetly knew something was wrong. She had awaked the night befor and watched Jo pacing the room,unable to sleep.She gasped when she saw a tear roll down Jo's cheek.The next morning Tootie had pulled Natalie into the bathroom and told her about what she saw.
Natalie wasn't as shocked as Tootie thought she would be. "I knew something was up.You know when I told you I forgot something in the cafeteria?"Tootie nodds and Natalie goes
on."Well when I went in,Blair had her face in her hands.When she looked up I noticed she was talking to herself!She was saying stuff about Jo and Andrew and us.I didn't
know what she was talking about though."The decided to talk to Mrs.Garrett about it because just the two of them talking about wasen't doing any good.
It was now noon and the cafeteria was crowded with girls.The girls were done serving out food and were getting reading to eat.Blair went off to sit with some other friends and Jo went into the kitchen to eat.Natalie and Tootie had Mrs.Garrett sit down and eat with them so they could talk.
Befor they could say anything about Blair or Jo,Andrew walked in,looked around and walked over to their table."Looking for Jo?"Mrs.Garrett asks him with a happy smile.
"Yep."He smiles back.
"I'll go get her for you.Girls can you hold on a minute?"They girls nod at Mrs.Garrett and she walks to the kitchen to get Jo.
Andrew looks at Natalie and Tootie."So how are you guys?"
Natalie smiles,"We're fine."
Tootie smiles too."Thanks for asking."

Jo was picking at her food when Mrs.Garrett walked in."Hey,Mrs.G.What's up?"
"There's someone here to see you."She answers and motions for Jo to get up and come with her.
Jo stands up and wonders who in the world would be coming to visit her.It couldn't be her parents,they would have called and let her know.She decided to just go out and
figure out who it was.
She walked past Mrs.Garrett into the kitchen and looked around.Jo turned back to Mrs.Garrett and waited for her to show her where her mystery guest was.Mrs.Garrett pointed past her towards the table where Tootie and Natalie sat.
Jo's heart skipped a beat when she saw Andrew standing there smiling,talking to Tootie and Natalie.All of a sudden the emotions Jo felt the night befor came rushing
back to her.
Apparently Mrs.Garrett noticed the disturbed look on Jo's face."Something wrong,Jo?" she asked.
"No,everything's fine."Jo answered quickly,keeping her eyes on Andrew.She worked her way around the tables,crowded
with laughing and smiling girls,towards Andrew.
"Oh,hey,Jo!I was hoping we could go get some lunch together or something."Andrew said happily when Jo walked up.
"I've already ate."Jo said dryly.
"Oh...well,maybe we could go for a walk or a movie-"
"We need to talk."Jo said,cutting him off.
"Is there something wrong?"Andrew asked starting to worry.
Jo looked down at her feet."Yeah,there is.We'll talk in the lounge.Follow me."Jo walks off with Andrew following her.
Natalie and Tootie look at each other like 'what just happened here'?

As you can probably tell that's not the end.I'll get it posted in hopefully the next hour though.Sorry if it seems rushed...
