I read somewhere that they somehow found out that they're distantly related because of something that happened with one of her ancestors who was a slave. I think her ancestors master was Lisa Marie's distant ancestor and they found out that he :censored: with Oprahs ancestor.
And on the promo for her season premiere, Oprah says "And a special not-to-be-missed performance by my cousin, Lisa Marie Presley".

ahhh, i see.....yeah , i suppose a lot of Americans from the south would have the same kind of family histories. Of course, it wasnt all that long ago that such things were "covered up" in families........the way my Grandmother covered up the Mohawk ancestor on her side of the family for many years.
One day, hopefully, well all be proud, just to be ourselves, no matter where we began! :)
