This episode is based on an episode of I Love Lucy with the Facts of Life touch.

( Blair, Tootie, Natalie, and Jo are closing up the shop. Jo and Blair are in yet another fight. While Natalie and Tootie keep their distance)

Jo- (Wiping counter) Blair I already told you there is no way on earth that I will not ask him out for you.
Blair- Jo! Please (Says in a whiney voice)
Jo- Blair are you deaf I said no! What part of no don’t you understand?!
Blair- The N-O
Jo- (Rolls her eyes. And slaps the towel onto a nearby table)
Blair- (Backs off a little not wanting a towel chucked at her face) Alright, alright. If you don’t want to help a friend then I guess I will just go ask somebody else.
Jo-(Not looking up at Blair) Okay. Good luck.
Blair- (Frowns) Ugh! (Storms out)
Tootie- Well Nat what do you say we go upstairs and study for the test?
Nat- What test?
Tootie- (Gives her a look)
Nat- Oh that test. Sure let’s go.
(They both walk upstairs)
****Later that day****
(Nat and Tootie are at a movie. Jo and Blair are in their room studying. Mrs. G is visiting her sister Beverly Ann)
Blair- Hey Jo?
Jo- Yeah?
Blair- Sorry I bugged you earlier.
Jo- (Smiles) Don’t worry about it. (Closes her school book) Wanna go see a movie or something?
Blair- Sure. I got to go get ready first. (Walks into the bathroom)
Jo- ( Walks out of the room)
**5 min. Later**
Jo- (Yelling from downstairs) Come on Blair hurry up!
Blair- Coming! (Gets to the top of the stairs)
Jo- Oh can you take these books and put them away? (Tosses them up to Blair)
Blair-Ouch! (Holding her eye)
Jo- You okay?
Blair- I think so. You tossed those books right at my eye. (Uncovers her eye)
Jo- Oh that is going to leave a shiner. Sorry about that. I’ll go get some ice.
Blair- Okay thanks. (Slowly walks down the stairs holding her eye and sits on the couch)
Jo- (Comes running back in) Here ya go. You better get that on right away before it really swells up.
Blair- Oh don't worry I will. I have a date this weekend.I am not going looking like this.
Well I hafta go do my h/w. It gets a lot more exciting. I’ll write more by tomorrow.

Blair- When I was little I used to be afraid of the Boogie Man and my daddy would say "don't worry hunny. we own the Boogie Man!

****Hour Later****
(Blair is on the couch trying to read with one eye. Jo is outside cleaning her bike.)
Tootie- (Comes walking up to Jo) Hey Jo.
Jo- Hiya Tootie! How was the movie?
Tootie- (Looks at Jo in surprise.) It was good.
Jo- Oh that’s good.
Tootie- Yeah.
Nat- (Has a weird look on her face) Come one Tootie. We gotta go study for that test.
Tootie- Oh right. Talk to you later Jo. (Walking up to the door) Well she was in a good mood.
Nat- I know.(Opens door) Maybe she finally decked Blair. (Her and Tootie laugh. Then they see Blair and stop.)
Tootie- Blair! Are you okay?!
Blair- (Doesn’t notice them at first because she is into her book)
Nat- Holy cow! Jo must have really beat her up. (Runs up to Blair and taps her on the shoulder) Blair.
Blair- (Startled by the tap she screams)
Nat- Relax it’s us. Your friends. Unlike some people. Are you okay how hard did she hit you?
Blair- Oh she hit me really hard. See (Shows her the eye)
Tootie- Whoa! What did you say to make her so mad?
Nat- You kept bugging her didn’t you? You should never mess with Jo.
Blair- What in the world are you guys talking about? Jo who? (Thinking they are talking about a different Jo)
Nat- Oh no. Amnesia. It’s worst than I thought. (Takes Tootie by the arm and they run outside)
Blair- (Confused look on her face. Then shrugs her shoulders and goes back to reading her book)
**Outside**
Nat- Jo that was really low even for you. I can’t believe you.
Jo- What?!
Tootie- I mean sure Blair can get on our nerves but come on. Now thanks to you she has amnesia. You are not welcome here anymore until you apologize to her.
Jo- Apologize to who?
Nat- Looks like Blair got a good swing at her.
Jo- What is up with you two?! (Has a really angry and and confused look on her face) Blair hit me? Ha! That’s a good one. (Starts laughing hysterically)
Nat- Come on Tootie. Looks like we have to go help Blair ourselves. (They walk back into the house)
Jo- I better go inside and see what’s up. (Walks into the house)
Blair- (Looks up) Oh hi Jo. Did you fix your bike?
Nat-(Hears Blair and comes running in from the kitchen) Blair look out! (Runs up to Jo and pushes her out the door)
Blair- Natalie! What is the matter with you? (Walks up to the door and lets Jo back in)
Jo- Alright. Everyone on the couch now! (Really angry)
(Everyone sits down)
Jo- Now, what is up with you two?! I didn’t do a thing to Blair… on purpose.
Nat- Oh come on Jo. You know you want to tell us.
Blair- Tell you what?
Tootie- How Jo decked you in the eye.
Jo- What? (Stops and thinks for a second then realizes what they think) Oh that. Guys it was an accident. I asked Blair if she could put my books back and I tossed them up to her and they hit her in the eye.
Nat- Oh I see. (Still thinks Jo is lying) You threw them up to her thinking she would actually catch them?
Jo- Well…yeah. I can’t believe you guys think I would actually hit Blair.
Blair- Guys she didn’t hit me. She is telling the truth.
Tootie- Blair how should you know? You have amnesia. So just stay out of this.
Blair- I do?
Jo- No. Alright if you guys think that I would actually do this then I guess I should just leave. (Storms out the door, hops on her bike, and heads down the street)
Nat- Well we got rid of her.
Blair- You really don’t believe us do you? You don’t even believe your best friends? Well if you will excuse me I am going to go finish reading this book. (Stomps upstairs)
Tootie- Well that went well. Nat?
Nat- Yeah?
Tootie- What if they were really telling the truth.
(They both think for a second)
Both of them- (Shake their heads in disagreement) Nah.
**The next morning**
Blair- (Walks downstairs to see Jo sitting on the couch watching TV) Hey.
Jo- (Turns around) Hey. Your eye looks a lot better.
Blair- I know. It doesn’t hurt anymore either.
Jo- Can you believe Nat and Tootie actually think that I hit you?
Blair- I know. They know us too well to believe a crazy story like that.
(Tootie and Nat overhear the conversation)
Nat- You know she has a point. Would Jo actually do such a thing?
Tootie- (Opens mouth to say something but before she gets to say anything she is interrupted but Nat)
Nat- Of course not. You should be ashamed of yourself Tootie actually thinking they would do that.
Tootie- Look who’s talking.
Nat- Lets not argue over this. How about we go apologize to Jo and Blair?
Tootie- Can’t argue with you on that one. (Both walk into the room)
Jo- Uh oh here they come.
Tootie- Jo just listen up. Look we know you didn’t hit Blair.
Nat- Yeah. I don’t know how we even thought you would do such a thing. We’re sorry.
Tootie- Can you ever forgive us?
Jo- Of course we can. But why didn’t you believe us in the first place?
Blair- Yeah?
Tootie- Well Jo was in such a happy mood when we came home and then we walked in the house and saw Blair with a black eye.
Nat- I guess we sorta jumped to conclusions.
Blair- I’ll say.
Jo- Look what do you say we all go get some breakfast and then after we close the shop we all go cruisin’?
Blair- Sounds good to me.
Tootie- Sure
Nat- Okay.
Jo- Great.
(Then they all walk into the kitchen)
