In a TV guide Interview, Fall Preview Edition, Ron Jaworski was asked where he got the nickname Jaws from and his answer is below

Former 76er, Doug Collins, gave it to me in the late 70's. He was my neighbor and at the time the movie JAWS was pretty popular and he said my jaws was always flappin so I'm going to call yoyu Jaws and it kind of stuck.
