I don't think it's going to be the team from the Bronx... ;) I agree...I just don't think this is their year. I certainly hope I am wrong. Janice 09-03-2007, 10:19 PM The 2007 World Series: Angels Vs Mets .....and your prediction for the winner is? freshprinceofLA 09-03-2007, 10:26 PM AL East: Boston Red Sox AL Central: Cleveland Indians AL West: Los Angeles Angels The Wild Card: New York Yankees NL East: New York Mets NL Central: Chicago Cubs NL West: Arizona Diamondbacks The Wild Card: San Diego Padres The 2007 World Series: AL: Boston Red Sox NL: New York Mets Winner Boston Red Sox Brian Damage 09-03-2007, 10:28 PM .....and your prediction for the winner is? The Angels Janice 09-03-2007, 10:33 PM I agree...I just don't think this is their year. I certainly hope I am wrong. You know that anything can happen in sports. I never ever get complacent, and I rarely give up. You guys still have a good shot. My husband is convinced that the Yankees are going to be the Wild Card. Dynomite 09-03-2007, 11:50 PM How about this: AL East: Red Sox NL East: Mets AL Central: Indians NL Central: Cubs AL West: Angels NL West: Diamondbacks AL Wild Card: Mariners NL Wild Card: Padres World Series Prediction: Mets vs. Indians World Series Champion: Indians(Ohio's bridesmaid finishes ends) Mikado 09-04-2007, 12:09 AM Brians predictions seem pretty likely to me....but, as Janice said....anything can happen ( Other than my Blue Jays EVER making the playoffs again, Ive given up on that! ) James 09-04-2007, 12:55 AM AL East: Boston Red Sox AL Central: Cleveland Indians AL West: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, of Fontana, of Garden Grove, etc. :D Wild Card: Detroit Tigers NL East: New York Mets NL Central: Chicago Cubs NL West: San Diego Padres Wild Card: St. Louis Cardinals World Series Prediction: Cleveland Indians vs. Chicago Cubs World Series Champion: Cleveland Indians Brian 09-04-2007, 01:09 AM AL East: Boston Red Sox AL Central: Cleveland Indians AL West: Los Angeles Angels AL Wild Card: New York Yankees NL East: New York Mets NL Central: Chicago Cubs NL West: San Diego Padres NL Wild Card: Arizona Diamondbacks World Series: Mets vs. Indians (Indians win) Pavan 09-05-2007, 01:09 PM Tigers in the Wild Card? They are 3 games out and are playing terrible. They have a near .500 record at home, which is not playoff material. Yankees will win the wild card. Dynomite 09-05-2007, 07:29 PM Tigers in the Wild Card? They are 3 games out and are playing terrible. They have a near .500 record at home, which is not playoff material. Yankees will win the wild card. Yes, the Tigers are struggling, but the Yankees' starting pitching rotation, at this time, is abominable. I doubt the Yankees will catch the Red Sox by the season's end, and at the same time, they'll be lucky if they win the AL Wild Card, but don't be surprised if the Mariners move out in front and get the AL Wild Card, because they can do it. Pavan 09-05-2007, 07:54 PM It is the Yankees' Wild Card to lose...they have the lead, so I will give them the advantage. Mariners are streaky, they have like four 6+ game losing streaks this year...little too many. Wild Card will be the Yankees, I think. Mariners have a shot, but the Tigers do not. Their pitching is not that bad. Wang and Pettitte are great. Clemens, Hughes, and Kennedy are not bad either.
