Who the hell names a QB a starter for one game?? Why not just say he is the starter FOR NOW and see how it plays out? Crennel is not NFL material, anytime is he going to play musical quaterbacks-lol

That decision makes ZERO sense. You either use him or you don't. What incentive does Frye have if he knows it is only one game? And why one game???

I think Frye will start for a little while. But I agree with Solomon, Crennell isnt NFL material with a decision like that. Brady Quinn will be in before mid-season I'd guess. But hey, this is the same guy who picked the preseason starter by flipping a coin...

BTW Ken Dorsey was cut.

I remember Steve Spurrier did that in 2002 with Shane Matthews, Danny Warffuel, and Patrick Ramsey. Crennel has plenty of NFL experience to know better. If he does that, then he doesn't deserve a head coaching job.

There's been talk around here that Bill Cowher will be there next year.

Crennel should stick to defense! He looks like crap without Bill Belicheck in New England. I think Quinn should start for most of the season he looked good in pre season.

It's so ironic - Bill B. was ripped one side and down the other back in the 1990s coaching the Browns. The fans couldn't stand him. To see what he's done now with the Patriots - Cleveland just can't win. Will we EVER have a steady, reliable #1 quarterback again - like Bernie Kosar?? I wonder.

You get TWO CBS Games in your area???

I know in college when I lived 25 min from Springfield, MA, I would get a FOX game that was based in MA and another FOX game in CT

Frequently I can get 2 different Fox games too.
CBS is less rare, unless its the Browns on one and the Steelers on another.
