Billy Joel's wife Katie Lee was turned away from Diddy's annual White Party on Sunday, because she was dressed in cream. The hip-hop mogul had a strict white dress code at the end-of-summer bash at his Long Island, New York, mansion and made sure his bouncers enforced the fashion rules.

Combs entertained hundreds of people, including Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Donna Karan, Tommy Lee and Ashley Olsen.

Joel's wife Lee turned up dressed in cream, but was told to go home and change.

Combs attended his bash dressed in a white shirt and trousers and white sneakers.

 I thought she was turned away because it was past her bedtime. Thank goodness it wasn't a school night!

Oh wow, you don't want to mess with Mr. Diddy and his dress-code-enforcement goon squad!! They just might fit you with some *cement Prada*!!

So, is cream, like "off-white" or something?

Funny, for someone who really enjoys "white" as a color, he eliminated that one white guy singer on his Making The Band show because the white guy sounded "too black".

I thought only "virgins" could wear white? So why is Mariah, Diddy and all them celebs wearing white?

Billy Joel's wife was dressed appropriately for a non-virgin.

Gee, do you think Billy Joel is starting to feel really old now? He's pushing 60 and his 26-year-old wife is hitting all these hip hop parties and staying out late. Does anyone know if Billy was even AT the party??

..he also gave the white singer a solo contract tho. I know Donnie and let me tell you he has no hard feelings towards Diddy, at all.

I always thought it ironic that Poof Diddley was put in charge of mentoring a band. Shouldn't someone with a knowledge of music be given that charge??

I'll take Gene Simmons' Rock School, because Gene knows a thing or two about music and more so, how to market it to death! He may not be a master musician, but he can write a good song when he wants to.

Diddley...not so much. And watch out, or he'll sample you!
