You might want to add Roseanne to that list. I agree with your list. Too much of anything is not good. Some of those shows I have watched, but because of them being overplayed, I don't care for them anymore.
comedyfreak 09-03-2007, 06:45 PM I'm tired of Fresh Prince, Cosby Show, and Gunsmoke.
JulieSomoski 09-03-2007, 07:25 PM I'd say only a few shows are really overplayed:
Gunsmoke (on TVLand)
Friends
Seinfeld
Everybody Loves Raymond
Scrubs
The last 4 shows are the ones taking over my syndication networks!
treky 09-03-2007, 11:37 PM THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW
THE COSBY SHOW
MASH
the reruns of C.S.I. and C.S.I.: MIAMI on SPIKE TV and A & E
icecream 09-04-2007, 12:44 AM Fresh Prince, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Two and a Half Men, The King of Queens, America's Funniest Home Videos, The Cosby Show, Full House, Home Improvement, Sex & the City, Scrubs, infomercials, movies on weekends, Still Standing, Dr. Phil, Everybody Loves Raymond, That 70s Show, Will & Grace, Golden Girls, Law & Order: SVU, Andy Griffith, America's Next Top Model, King of the Hill, Charmed, Law & Order, Murder She Wrote, Little House on the Prairie
justifiably overplayed
M*A*S*H, Frasier, Reba
Classicshowsgurl15 09-04-2007, 02:15 AM I'm sick of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It seems like every time I turn it on Nick at Nite its Fresh Prince.

I'm hoping Home Improvement will get good enough ratings to justify the amount of aiirngs between Home Improvement and Fresh Prince. That way, if another show is just as popular, we'll be seeing both, not just Fresh Prince.
waichingliu81 09-04-2007, 01:19 PM well here in the UK friends is always played to death. even though it ended 3 years ago, channel four have been showing re-runs of that show monday to friday in the morning. thankfully for myself, i avoid watching them
eddie146 09-04-2007, 01:32 PM Home improvement and some of these other shows that come to nick at nite are already overplayed on local stations and tbs.

Did you just make a list of shows you don't like on your local stations?
Moonlit_Suburb 09-05-2007, 04:36 AM Friends
Seinfeld
Everybody Loves Raymond
Scrubs
Fresh Prince
That '70s Show
James 09-05-2007, 11:57 AM Did you just make a list of shows you don't like on your local stations?
No, I also included a show on cable (Roseanne, which at least one other person has pointed out). I also included the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show since it has been on once the last few years as a special, and in my book that is once too many.
Heidi Dawn 09-05-2007, 02:53 PM Seems like all there is on in my area are these shows, it's bad enough that they're on multiple channels, I don't really care for them at all:
Seinfeld
Everybody Loves Raymond
Still Standing
Yes, Dear
The King Of Queens
Roseanne
The Cosby Show
The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air
Home Improvement
Just Shoot Me
Fraiser
Cheers
The Nanny
Married With Children
Will & Grace
The Simpsons
Grace Under Fire
That 70's Show
Classicshowsgurl15 09-09-2007, 10:45 PM Other shows that are showed alot.
Friends
M*A*S*H
Gunsmoke
Bonanza
Buffyboy323 09-10-2007, 07:34 AM Fresh Prince, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Two and a Half Men, The King of Queens, America's Funniest Home Videos, The Cosby Show, Full House, Home Improvement, Sex & the City, Scrubs, infomercials, movies on weekends, Still Standing, Dr.
Well you just about named every show in the book! ;)
And I love Reba, but there is nothing justifiable about airing it at 6:00 and 6:30pm, then again at 8:00 and 8:30pm....ON THE SAME CHANNEL!
rosered 09-10-2007, 10:38 AM LAW AND ORDER
it is constantly on and there are a million different types of the show (SVU, criminal intent..) and it comes on about 5 different channels
factsoflife 09-10-2007, 12:00 PM I Love Lucy.
Come on it's been over 50 years and that show is STILL on! let's get some newer, better shows on the air!
FactoryGirl 09-12-2007, 01:27 AM I'm going to agree with almost everyone and say 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" and "Roseanne".
All those western shows that come on TVLand. Come on and make some room for 'The Facts of Life' and 'What's Happening'.
Mr. Television 09-12-2007, 01:30 AM I Love Lucy.
Come on it's been over 50 years and that show is STILL on! let's get some newer, better shows on the air!
Better than I Love Lucy? That show is a classic as proven by the fact that it remains popular after 50 years.
Wannabe Nerd 09-16-2007, 04:58 PM - Seinfeld (It's EVERYWHERE!!! One of my local channels just picked it up.)
- Everybody Loves Raymond
- That '70s Show
- The Cosby Show (But that's okay. I still love the show.)
- The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
- Grounded For Life
- Scrubs
- Everybody Loves Raymond
- Sex and the City
- Home Improvement
