Are there any Bangles fans here? I have mostly been a casual fan, until seeing them live recently. Now, I'm really getting into their music again. I was surprised at how much they can still fill a venue. The amount of talent they have is insane. I couldn't believe how much Susanna Hoffs hasn't aged. She's near 50, and pretty much looks the same.

Right now my favorite songs are:

Be With You
Hero Takes a Fall
Going Down to Liverpool
Manic Monday
I'll Set You Free
The Rain Song
Single By Choice
Tear Off Your Own Head

Anyone else?

As long as I don't have to hear "Walk Like an Egyptian", I have no problem with them. My favorites are "If She Knew what She Wants" and their cover of "Going Down to Liverpool". I still haven't heard Katrina and the Waves original yet.

Manic Monday and Walk Like an Egyptian are the ONLY Bangles songs Ive ever heard of... They were cute songs, but, Ill take the Japanese-punk girl bands Shonen Knife or Mikabomb over them, as far as girl bands go. So, I wouldnt say im a fan, but, I think they were fun.

Now I like Walk Like an Egyptian that is my favorite of there's. I remember when I was little I couldn't get enough of that song I even walked around the house doing the egyptian dance all day long. I love the Bangles there one of my favorite 80's girl bands. I thought it was so cool when they did an episode of Gilmore Girls I mean they got to sing one full song and parts of 3 other songs.

My favorite songs of there's are:
Walk Like an Egyptian
Maniac Monday
Hero takes a fall
Eternal Flame
In your Room
Walkin' Down your Street
Hazy Shade of Winter
If she knew what she wants

I actually wish I could see them performing live. I used to be into them when I was a kid but it was during the days when if you didn't have cable you barely knew anything about them aside from when they came on the radio. They weren't huge favorites of mine but I did like them enough to go see them making an instore appearance at Tower Records. To bad they didn't perform. That would have been great. I actually know more about them now then I ever did during their hayday and have become a bigger fan of their music. I agree about Hoffs being freakishly youthful looking.

Complicated Girl
In Your Room
Eternal Flame
If She Knew What She Wants
Manic Monday

I loved them growing up in the 80's. I haven't really followed the more recent material, but they had a great run in the mid/late 1980's.

As an update to my last post, I can now say that I have every CD that The Bangles did, which are:

All Over The Place (1984)
Different Light (1986)
Everything (1988, my personal favorite)
Doll Revolution (2003)
Sweetheart of the Sun (2011)
Ladies and Gentlemen...the Bangles! (2014)

Also, I have a DVD that Shout! Factory released years ago of a September 2000 concert that The Bangles did called "Return To Bangleonia" as well.

Oh, and personally, I think Susanna Hoffs is still looking fine as heck to this day! :) :D   :happyface

I started liking The Bangles when I first heard about them from my mom and she liked the song Manic Monday because it reminded her of her work days when she would go to work in a hectic mood and did you know Manic Monday was written by Prince? I also liked the song Walk Like An Egyptian because it was such a cool song and fun to dance to. After the release of The Bangles 1988 album Susanna Hoffs released her solo album in 1989 that's also great as well. I wonder if The Bangles will reunite and release a comeback album someday soon because they were one of the coolest girl bands of the 80's
