There are singers, bands, personalities, and the bottom feeders who have distinct voices, musical sounds, etc. that you can instantly recognize simply by hearing it. For example The Beach Boys have a distinct sound in their music. You can easily recognize it as them.

Your choices can living or dead.

Speaking voices:

Gregory Sierra (NATURALLY!) (:eyes:)
Lucy & Desi
Samantha & Darrin (EM & DY)
Jay Leno
many US presidents

Heck - almost anybody has a recognizable voice to me! Except for many of those popular kid stars of today - since I'm in my late 20s and have no kids, I don't know most of them from Adam.

Here's another one - Kevin Seitzer, former MLB infielder (who ended his playing career with my hometown Indians) and most recently a hitting coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Even though he hails from the Midwest, he has a very twangy drawl of a voice. A friend I had in high school could imitate his voice perfectly.

I put Arnold Horseshack because Ron Pallilo doesn't really talk that way. He exaggerates the talk and therefore, it is the character's voice I recognize.

I agree with those who posted above the following:

John Goodman
Elvis Presley

I seem to be able to identity celebrities who do commercial voice-overs pretty well. David Ducovney does Pedigree dog food, Lisa Kudrow did Aquafina(I think), Peri Gilpin does Wells Fargo, Keifer Sutherland did Verizon(one of those phone companies), George Clooney, Tom Bosley, Thomas Haden Church.......
