Hey Everyone,

I tried to go on VEI's website to check for any updates only to find out that the website is under construction! Hopefully, when the site is back up and running, there could be an announcement for GAB Season 3! We can hope!:)

I hope they are beefing up their website and catalog. I was beginning to lose hope of seeing Season 3 released on dvd. They haven't released anything I've heard of in a while. Last tv show was Kate & Allie: Season 4 I think. Hope we hear something soon. :)

Just my opinion but I don't think we need to worry about VEI not releasing GAB S3. I think they're probably just working on their website. They seem like a pretty sound company and from what I've heard GAB S2 sold very well (at least well enough to run out of stock on amazon). I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an announcement soon.

Yeah, I saw that too. I wonder what's up with that. I hope that the stuff that is on that site now is just temporary.

I agree. I'm pretty sure that Season 3 of GAB will be released. The only question is when? One would think that if one season of a TV show sold so well that the distributor had to replenish the stock twice, then that would be a definate sign to release the following season(s) of that show. So, I think that Season 3 of GAB is in the bag! Let's just hope that we hear some news about it between now and the holidays!:)

Gimme a Break! is listed in its catalogue. So it must have something to do with the release. Nothing slated for September, I'm afraid. They don't have the October schedule up yet either. There is a contact number but I'm not sure if it's wise to call just to ask about upcoming dvds. They probably wouldn't be able to divulge any info anyway.

No sign of Season 3 yet though. Looks like they are working on Riptide and Hardcastle and McCormack first. They now have a section called Upcoming Releases and Latest Projects. Hope it is updated frequently.

I sent an email through their website asking about GAB again since I never got a response last time. I'm really anxious for the 3rd season! If I hear anything back from them (which I doubt) I'll let everyone know.

Yeah, I had sent them an e-mail in March or April and got a response that they were aiming for the end of 2007 to release Season 3. Then, I e-mailed them again in the summer and didn't get a response. If you hear anything, let us know. Right now, it looks like they are working on their releases of Riptide, Hardcastle & McCormick and Stingray. They are close to completing all 3 series. So, hopefully, Gimme a Break! is next on their list of projects. They know it sold well. So it doesn't make sense that they would abandon it now.

Being that Season 2 of GAB sold out twice on amazon.ca, I really don't see VEI abandoning this show at this point. I'm just wondering what the hold up is for Season 3. I know that Nell sang on several occasions throughout the series from Season 3 on, but I'm not sure what licensing issues (musically speaking), if any, could be holding up the release. I've e-mailed VEI several times throughout the year regarding GAB, but have received no response. I think that it would be awesome if Seasons 3 and 4 were released together!:)
I think that we just need to keep the faith that season 3 of GAB will be released soon!:)
