Probably just a coincedence...Names for TV show characters are picked at random, in an attempt to keep them as fictional as possible ( To avoid lawsuits ...remember Dragnet:" The names have been changed, to protect the innocent"? ) There are exceptions to this, like characters on shows that parodied something such as M*A*S*H, which were sometimes deliberately named like Col Flagg and General Steele, but, thats an exception , more than the rule.
The characters on Corner Gas are all named for towns in Saskatchewan, btw ! :lol: ( The main character Brent Leroy, is named for Leroy Sask, for instance )
