It has been years since I seen The Partridge Family in syndication. Well, it shows on my local channel and tonight, the episode YOU'RE ONLY YOUNG TWICE featured Charlotte Rae. She played a psychologist and she was dealing with a problem that Danny had.

What I found interesting is that she is wearing those similar glasses she wore on Facts of Life in the early seasons. You know, those small reading glasses that hang on her nose with the strap that allows her to remove them and they lay on her chest. Does Charlotte need to wear glasses? Is this a coincidence that she is seen in various shows wearing those type of glasses?

If there was anyone to deal with Danny Bonaduce's problems, it would HAVE TO be Mrs. Garrett. :D

Well that would be true. We can take Mrs. Garrett and put her in the world of Partridge.

when she guest starred in a lot of the 70s shows she wore those glasses, like in All in the Family (great ep btw) and Good Times she had those glasses on, so my guess is that she needs them to read, she still wore them in the facts of life occasionally, so i'm sure it's just a natural thing for her to wear all of the time, but does anybody have screen shots or find the clip on youtube?

She seemed a lot older WITH those glasses than she did later on Facts of Life in the later seasons.
