You can see shots from Boston in the opening credits of that show. if you're talking about the Bay Area that is "San Francisco?" if so, then "Full House" and "The Streets of San Francisco" take place there, too. As well as this one very short-lived sitcom that aired on ABC in the early to mid-'90s starring Margaret Cho also took place there. If it's Oakland, CA, then you can also add: "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" to the list of shows that took place in Oakland, CA. Others: Besides "Alice," what other shows were settled in Arizona? I was originally born in Arizona, but now reside in Illinois. Back in the 70's there was a failed series supposedly set in Flint, Mi. (I live 10 miles west of Flint) It was so lame! The series revolved around a steel plant. Which is ridiculous. No steel plants in Flint! It should have been an auto plant, DUH!:rolleyes: and in an outdoor shot of a kid riding his bicycle around his neighborhood there was a mountain in the distance!:lol: The Flint area is basically flat. The only "mountain" in a 20 mile radius is a landfill.:lol: I can't remember the name of the series but I believe that Elinor Donahue played the mother. 'Road to Avonlea' (or 'Avonlea' to those who got the airings on Disney Channel) and 'Emily of New Moon'. 'Avonlea' was filmed in Ontario, while 'Emily' was filmed in Prince Edward Island (not far from where I live). Get Smart was also set in D.C., b/c the opening credits from the final season definitely showed shots of various D.C. landmarks. "That's My Mama!" was also a D.C. based show, b/c Clifton Davis always talked about his father's barber shop was in D.C. in the opening credits of S1. Scarecrow and Mrs. King was also another D.C. show. The F.B.I.
