That's pathetic. I'm still surprised the Packers fans are interested in going to Lambeau. Atleast the Vikings were in the playoffs in 2005. Packers haven't been anywhere since 4th and 26 which in 2004

I'm still surprised the Packers fans are interested in going to Lambeau. Atleast the Vikings were in the playoffs in 2005. Packers haven't been anywhere since 4th and 26 which in 2004 Vikings games always sellout, so that a first. Maybe it's time for that new stadium. Check out this website http://www.stadiumsofnfl.com Chelsea 08-29-2007, 07:08 PM Green Bay continues to sell out due to the fact it's Green Bay, and it's the Packers. There's not really a hell of a lot to do in Green Bay in the winter, and a llot of these folks waited an awful long time for their Packers tickets. And Green Bay is REALLY passionate about the Packers, win or lose. It's not like, say, Philadelphia where you go any pay attention to something else if the local sports team isn't entertaining you any more. Packers haven't been anywhere since 4th and 26 which in 2004 They haven't sold out...YET. They still have untilt he 6th I believe to sell a few thousand tickets. They're launching some kind of a big sales campaign, but it's still probably gonna be pretty close. It'll be the first blackout they've had in over 10 years if they don't. freshprinceofLA 08-30-2007, 02:01 AM I would've expected them to sell out due to the fact of people wanting to see Adrian Peterson eh go figure  mriggles 08-30-2007, 05:16 AM That's pathetic. I'm still surprised the Packers fans are interested in going to Lambeau. Atleast the Vikings were in the playoffs in 2005. Packers haven't been anywhere since 4th and 26 which in 2004 They have a long streak of sellouts, so this would be the first time in a while a game doesn't sell out at the HHH. I know the eagles game in minnesota is a sell out. In fact at least 10,000 birds fans will be joining me there in October!! Still time to sell it out Dutabi84 08-30-2007, 05:06 PM I would've expected them to sell out due to the fact of people wanting to see Adrian Peterson eh go figure  Imagine if they had drafted someone from a not so glamorous position in the 1st round, say an O-lineman. They would without a doubt fall short of selling out a few games. catlover79 08-30-2007, 06:12 PM Wow! I can only imagine what it would be like here in Cleveland if opening day didn't sell out! How any years now have the Twins and Vikings been trying to get new fields? HHH is one ugly stadium - only the Kingdome was uglier until Seattle got rid of it! GARFIELDKOOL 08-30-2007, 06:46 PM Wow! Finally the Twins are getting their new ballpark (outdoor baseball! FINALLY!). http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/min/ballpark/index.jsp Unfortunatly, the Vikings are having a hard time getting theirs. I never liked domes in football especially in cold weather states. Their's something extra special watching the games in GB and Chicago in the winter. The owner of the Vikes wants to get a retractable roof stadium built, but if that doesn't go through, an outdoor stadium would be great. Never been to a pro football game in the cold..or even outdoors for that matter. I'm sure it's a much better atmosphere. catlover79 08-30-2007, 11:15 PM Yeah, definitely. Going to a Browns game in December was a great experience - that was in 2001 and was the infamous beer bottle tossing game. No, I did not throw any. I actually saw that live on TV when it happened. catlover79 08-30-2007, 11:40 PM Oh man. I actually saw that live on TV when it happened. I went to the game with a friend of mine - and to date it's the only time I've seen him completely speechless!! It was truly an odd experience but in a way kind of an honor being at the worst case of fan rioting at a major Cleveland sporting event since 1974!! (1974 was Nickel Beer Night at an Indians game - who was the idiot who thought that would be a good idea??) Scoobiedoo30 08-31-2007, 08:38 PM so it not going to be on Televison I guess they will have Fill-in Programming instead of The Vikings Game |
