New to TV One’s lineup of daily comedy programming is the Robert Townsend sitcom The Parent'Hood, to air weeknights at 7:30pm. This year, TV One also features the recent high-ranking African-American family sitcom “All Of Us” on weeknights at 7pm.
On weekends, starting Sunday October 7, spirited fun abounds at TV One as the 1997 sitcom “Good News,” starring David Ramsay as a new pastor in an urban church, comes to the network with back to back episodes airing on Saturdays & Sundays from 1-2pm, and encoring 7-8pm ans 2-3am. Guest stars include Bernadette Stanis (Good Times), Anna Maria Horsford (Amen) and Chaka Khan.

All day long episodes will chronicle her character Shelley’s tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend J.T. as each tries to get the upper hand.

Sherman Hemsley was in Amen. And, it's definitely sad to see that go. With no DVD releases, it's gonna be hard to catch it on anymore.

I completely agree. I never really liked any UPN shows (but who has) beginning with Moesha back in the nineties, and this one goes right with it.

Good News was nothing but a cheap knock off of Amen. I think TVOne would have been better off picking up Sparks. Other than that, the lineup looks great.

* On Sunday October 7 at 6pm, TV One presents a 2 hour mini-marathon of the sitcom All of Us which will replay at 2am. All of Us co-star Duane Martin also appears in White Men Can’t Jump, which follows at 8pm.
* On Sunday October 14 at 6pm, TV One presents a 2 hour mini-marathon of the sitcom Wanda at Large, which will replay at 2am. Wanda At Large, starring Wanda Sykes as a commentator on a D.C. political roundtable series, fits into the weekend's Ladies First theme of programming led by powerful women – and serves as a lead-in to TV One's previously announced TV One On One interview featuring former First Lady, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
* On Sunday October 21, TV One Access moves down to the 7pm time-slot while the TV One on One episode featuring the interview with presidential candidate Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton airs an encore play at 6pm.

Series Premiere
Beginning on Monday, November 5, TV One adds The PJs to the back to back laugh attack lineup in the 9:30pm weeknight timeslot. The show, created by Golden Globe winning actor/producer Eddie Murphy (who provides Stubbs' voice), follows the adventures of the Stubbs family and the others in the building, animated through a process called 'Foamation’. The show will also air in the late night 12:30am timeslot on weeknights as well.

Nov. 3, Nov. 10 and Nov. 17
TV One continues our Month of Martin Saturday marathons on Saturday, November 10 and Saturday, November 17 both beginning at 12 Noon showcasing the supporting cast of the TV One sitcom favorite Martin. The marathon topics and dates are as follows:
· On Saturday November 10 beginning at 12 Noon, a marathon of Martin episodes featuring the girls Gina and Pam and their wacky escapades through the dating scene, navigating friendships, and career choices all while trying to remain true to each other. This all-day marathon keeps the laughs coming while letting the ladies shine. An encore version begins at 2am.
· On Saturday, November 17 beginning at 12 Noon, Martin's boy Tommy takes center stage in a Martin marathon featuring episodes focusing on Tommy dealing with relationships, his secret job, and his long standing friendship with Martin. Viewers can watch and see how Tommy keeps his cool while remaining the one in the group with the voice of reason in hysterical situations. An encore version will air beginning at 4am.
Thanksgiving Weekend:
Thanksgiving Marathon on Thursday, November 22 from 9am-12pm, episodes of All of Us, Martin, Good Times, and Parent'hood, followed by a Soul Food movie marathon from 12pm-9pm.
Friday, November 23, TV One presents Roots all day from 6am-6am.
On Saturday, November 24 beginning at 12 Noon, let the good times roll as TV One presents the Good Times family sitcom marathon. As viewers are spending time with their families during this family holiday weekend, they can also spend time with the Evans family and relive those special moments that make family so special in our hearts while the antics of JJ and the crew will keep viewers laughing the day away. This 10 hour marathon event will have an abbreviated encore version beginning at 2am.
On Sunday, November 25 beginning at 2pm, TV One continues our family themed weekend with an All of Us sitcom marathon. Blended families are the focus of this sitcom starring Duane Martin and LisaRaye McCoy as divorced parents who are still both involved in raising their son amidst their own love lives and career issues that cause unpredictable and hilarious situations for all involved. An encore version airs beginning at 1am.
