This two-parter is hilarious. :lol: Cousin Ernie's short visit turns into a nightmare for the Ricardos. :crazy: The point is that Cousin Ernie has "pride" and won't take money from the Ricardos so he can get back home. YET! when Lucy makes Cousin Ernie think they are broke and can no longer afford to keep him there, Cousin Ernie comes back to the apartment with some financial help and food. As Ethel tells Cousin Ernie the Ricardos don't want anyone to know they are "broke", Cousin Ernie states that he doesn't believe in foolish pride, etc. He wants the Ricardos to forget their foolish pride, but yet, he has enough of that to NOT take the Ricardos offer to help him get back home to Tennessee. :crazy: :lol:

Yeah, and then the plan with the Wicked City Woman backfired and Ernie actually liked to be "vamped." :lol:

Since I was 6 I watched this show. Now, this episode always had me wondering for the longest time as a child, "What does VAMP mean?" :lol: I remembering asking my sister and she just laughed. :lol:
