I wish I could have been there to answer Bill's question.

"Why should I move?"

1) Because life is too short to be harrassed on a continual basis by someone who went as far as to assault your wife. If they want you out that badly, hell just sell the place and get out!

2) because from the looks of it, your house was in some crappy lookin' neighborhood in Cleveland anyway. Move to Florida! It's the law when you turn 60!

3) Because by being on the show, you're going to bring yourself more undue attention. As well as look guilty as heck to a good portion of viewers.

Very funny stuff. And the last name Whacker or Wacker just adds to it.

I particularly love the amateur "stake out" scene, where he has a gun and walkie-talkie, waiting in a trailer for the bad guy to show up with more notes written in crayon. A kook trying to catch a kook thats what it really is.

As I posted in a previous thread (the "infamous quotes" 11+ page thread, I'm too lazy to post a link) I spent a great deal of time doing some double secret detective work (read: spent 10 minutes doing a google search) trying to find a resolution to this case. I looked up "wacker" and "ohio" and found http://www.wackersigns.com/ in Marysville, OH. I thought I had hit paydirt.

I mean, what are the chances there are two Wackers in this same area of Ohio who aren't related and, even if they aren't, who haven't heard of the infamous Wacker case that took place in this area? Same freakin county and everything.

So I sent an e-mail from their link provided. I was polite, explaining that I was an UM fan, and that we on a discussion board were interested in knowing if there was a resolution to the case.

No reply, nothing. So if someone has really nothing going on and wants to call the number on the page, or send them another e-mail or something, please do. Surely these Wackers have to know what went on in this WACKy case. I mean, this is WHACK. Why wouldn't they respond to my inquiry? I don't want to distract them from their sign building business, but surely they could spend five seconds either telling me they know nothing about it, leave us alone you freak, or spill the beans on what all came of this case. Suckas got to know!!!

Same thing with Lisa Penz (Bonnie Wilder case). I spent a good 5 minutes I will never get back tracking down her company and e-mailing with their online form. I mean, with the disdain she showed for that biggun' on her segment, you figure she would at least respond back with a yay or neigh, right?

You gotta love google, cheaper than actually doing some real research, but will do.

Massillon and Marysville are about 2 hours and 20 minutes apart. The town I live in, I have met people with the same last name who are not related.

The first time I heard of the Wacker case, it reminded me of Ruth Finley "The Poet" from Wichita Kansas. She was a married lady in her late 40s. Ruth recieved threatening letters through the mail and on the phone from "the Poet" starting in 1977. She was even supposedly attacked. In 1981, the police investigation ruled Ruth was the poet.

OK, I guess I didn't look at the map close enough. Are their last names 'Wacker?' I mean, I know ever Smith, Jones or Lewis isn't related, but Wacker isn't an everyday name. Hey, I gave it my best shot.
