to see tv shows from the 1970's and 1980's? My local stations mainly consist of shows after 1990 like

King of Queens
Everybody loves raymond
Seinfeld
Will and Grace
Sex and the City
Friends

Anyone area showing just Tv shows from the 1990 and after era?

...In my general area, really all that's seen in terms of classic TV is Andy Griffith and M*A*S*H, though apparently the local FOX affil's picked up I Love Lucy for fall.

No 80's shows at all in this area. The last time I seen a 80's show on a Philly local station was before 1990-lol

That looks like a pretty good schedule to me.

Their is a local channel here that plays Daniel Boone, The Beverly Hillbillies and TAGS. I was shocked. lol I think all the others only have modern hits on.

When we first moved into our house, we didn't have satellite hooked up yet. So it was just regular TV. And there was a station that we could get and it had Daniel Boone in it's line up along with Lucy Show, Honeymooner and The Beverly Hillbillies. It was some station from Oklahoma

Of course there's always The Simpsons, which I think does double duty on MyNetworkTV and The CW now. WCSH 6 showed Seinfeld for a long time. I miss having reruns of all the good shows available in syndication.

I feel so guilty for not watching it. *irene covers her head*

ALN just added WKRP and Bob Newhart to their schedule. There are more shows, but those two come to mind. I thoroughly enjoyed watching WKRP last night.

We get some pre-1990s things, but not a whole lot...

WUPL (MyNetworkTV) airs a good little crop of "black" sitcoms (I hate to use that term, though, because to me, a sitcom is a sitcom, no matter what color the characters are...just a brief soapbox moment). In the daytime, it's the 1980s shows "Gimme a Break!" and "Benson." "227" is going to join them starting next week. After MyNet primetime, it's the 1970s shows "The Jeffersons," "Good Times," and "Sanford and Son." Starting next week, they're gonna do "227" and "Benson" in late night too.

WHNO, which is sort of an independent, but really an affiliate of LeSea, airs all old stuff. "I Love Lucy" and "The Andy Griffith Show" share the 3pm hour, followed by "Little House on the Prairie" and "Matlock." After that, it's "Hogan's Heroes" and "The Rifleman." That's a great schedule, I think, but it used to include "Marcus Welby MD," "The Lucy Show," and "The Beverly Hillbillies," so I really miss those shows.

Most of the other channels don't really show anything pre-1990s. WVUE (Fox) usually airs "Cheers" episodes before and after sports stuff over the weekends and they have "Star Trek" on late Sunday nights. WBRZ sometimes does "M*A*S*H" on weekends and late nights.

Oh, I almost forgot, WAFB (which is the Baton Rouge CBS) airs "The Odd Couple" followed by "Taxi" at 3:30am and 4:00am, every Sunday morning (or Saturday night, depending on how you see it).

Every now and then, surprises pop up. WVUE showed "Fantasy Island" in late nights for a couple of months in, I think, 2005. I loved it, but one day I rewound my tape, and it was gone. They also had "Who's the Boss? airing in a marathon block with "Cheers" regularly on Saturday afternoons for a while.

The Jeffersons, Good Times, and Cheers air on WPIX late nights here in NY, but they will be gone this fall. Cosby Show will be gone on WWOR, too. So, no older shows at all here anymore really, except M*A*S*H on WWOR/WNYW. Saved by the Bell will air Saturdays at 7am on WNYW.

For now,my Columbus GTN 51 has added to the weekday schedule My Three Sons@5PM followed by Gomer Pyle @5:30.Nice double header.Doubt it will last too long as this channel changes it's lineup at the drop of the hat. Also I'd be surprised if this channel has the rights to air too many different episodes of each show.
