Mission Incredible-lol George was talking to the cop and trying to get Tom's money back and when the Cop said it would be difficult, George said really and then the Cop-Are you a Mets Fan? George said yeah and then the Cop said-"well you should be used to disappointments"


This caused me to do research and I found out that up until the point of the episode which was October of 1983, the Mets had 7 straight Losing seasons-lol 1977-1983 no playoff appearances so that was the info behind the Mets reference-lol
