Come to think of it, it wouldn't be that hard to imagine if Seinfeld & Becker existed in the same TV universe. What I'm driving at is, Kramer has an oft-mentioned, but never seen friend by the name of Bob Saccamanno. Saccamanno is depicted as an eccentric and a schemer, just as Kramer is. On Becker, "Bob" has no known last name, and lives in the TV setting of the Bronx (across the bridge from Seinfeld's Manhattan). His character is one of a weasly, nebbish schemer, similar to Kramer, yet Cosmo seems generally harmless, and genuinely wanting to help mankind with his wild ideas. Bob leans more towards selfishness, and ready to look out for number one, before all others. Still, it's concieveable to imagine the two as friends, and the surname-less Bob as Cosmo's never seen friend, Mr. Saccamanno.

If the two series ran within the same era, the crossover possibility would defintely be there. In my imagination, however, they are the same TV universe :)
