Now that Sept. is almost here, it's time to start planning for the new fall TV season. As usual, the network primetime pickings will be slim, and "classic TV" alternatives like TV Land don't appear to be much help either, but, despite that, I've still managed to work out my official fall lineup of shows that I would like to watch and, in some cases, also tape in case of any schedule conflicts. Here's what I've come up with for now:


PRIMETIME

Sunday

8:00 FOX The Simpsons
9:00 ABC Desperate Housewives
10:00 ABC Brothers and Sisters

I might watch Lipstick Jungle when it debuts in Feb. After that, it depends on which shows I like better.

Monday

8:00 CBS How I Met Your Mother
9:00 CBS Two and a Half Men
9:30 ABC Samantha Who?

Tuesday

Not a strong night for any of the networks. I'll most likely catch reruns of "The Flintstones" on Teletoon at 8 pm unless there's a good hockey game on TSN.

Wednesday

8:00 NBC Deal Or No Deal

Thursday

8:00 FOX Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?
9:30 NBC Scrubs

Friday

8:00 NBC Deal Or No Deal

Saturday

7:00 CBC Hockey Night In Canada

Nothing else matters! :)

5:00 CTS Happy Days

As you can see, SUN TV and CTS have changed places on my must-watch list. That's what happens when one channel takes away a couple of good shows and doesn't effectively replace them, while the other one adds two series that are worth watching again. If RTN can ever get their act together, I might be adding some of their shows to this list, but, for now, I'll stick with this group.

Here's mine. This is one of my favorite times to see the new fall shows.

8pm The Simpsons on Fox

Monday
8pm Chuck on NBC (This show looks really good I can't wait to see it.)

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
these are nothing nights but, I'll probably try to find something to watch.

Wednesday
8pm Back to You (This show will be good I hope since it has Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton together since they were both great on their other shows Grammer in Frasier and Heaton in Raymond.)

Weekday Repeats
5pm According to Jim on Fox 23
7pm Two and a Half Men on Fox 23

and that would be my week. of course I might check out the new game show crosswords and the new newsmagazine show TMZ.

Oh and I almost forgot there are other shows that I watch but are TBA and they are:

According to Jim Season 7 on ABC
Cory in the House on Disney Channel.
