Me too but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I think we'll find Jimmy Hoffa before those two extend olive branches.

Hope you have lots of fun at the show and lots of cool stories to share with us afterwards. :D
Mr. Television 08-28-2007, 12:49 AM I hope you have fun.
freshprinceofLA 08-28-2007, 01:03 AM Great to see them together I hope you have fun and see them tell us how it goes!
comedyfreak 08-28-2007, 08:57 AM If I get to go I'll keep you all informed. I do hope they don't rush you through the line, I'd like to thank both for doing the show. And I'd also like to tell Joyce that I think she should have played John's tv wife in 8 Simple Rules.
USATVFAN 08-28-2007, 10:25 AM that would have been a good idea.
but then people would think it was Jack And Janet Tripper Married with 3 kids.

Hey, don't you DARE talk to Joyce... she's MINE! :joke:
This was postponed. Joyce and Priscilla were supposed to be at the last show in July, but Joyce couldn't make it. So now it's set for Oct. and I'll be there!
comedyfreak, don't worry, no one is rushed through the line. I was able to talk to Joyce for at least 5 minutes at two different times. I waited for the line to thin out- she even said to me, "See you in a little bit?"
Here are a few pics from the Oct., 2004 show:
comedyfreak 08-29-2007, 05:08 AM No Fleet, she's mine! :D aww, now I really want to go. Does she charge for autographs, I've read they do. I've made my reservations now I can't wait until October. I'll be staying at the hotel convention center $106 per night is pretty good. Fleet, maybe can meet up.
Fleet 08-29-2007, 04:11 PM No Fleet, she's mine! :D
Okay, that does it... :boxing:

Yes, she chargers for autographs but she did sign one of my tabloid magazines for free probably because I paid for about 6 or 7 autographed photos.
If you want to find me just look for the guy hanging around Joyce. ;)

Thanks. Yes, the photos came out well and I will of course take more.
It should be fun unless comedyfreak tries to steal my "girlfriend." :D

   Holy crap, I'm going to have to bring lots of money. I'll be the one that looks like a kid in a candy store, I'll be star struck the whole time, LOL.
Lyverbe 08-30-2007, 07:28 AM This was postponed. Joyce and Priscilla were supposed to be at the last show in July, but Joyce couldn't make it.
She couldn't make it?! What the heck she's doing? I mean, I can't believe her her agenda is SO full that she can't go?

She couldn't make it because she was with me! :)
Actually, I think she was out of the country.

Yes, it would be a good idea to bring at least $100, not counting the entrance fee.
Remember, there will be a lot other celebs there besides Joyce and Prescilla such as Tony Curtis, Angie Dickinson, Debbie Reynolds, Robert Culp, Greg Evigan (B.J. and the Bear), Charlene Tilton and Richard "Jaws" Kiel.
comedyfreak 08-31-2007, 07:52 AM And don't forget Marla Gibbs,Ned Wertimer ralph the doorman, Richard Anderson "Oscar Goldman" Six Million Dollar Man. I don't think I have to pay the entrance fee since I'm staying at the Hotel.
Scoobiedoo30 08-31-2007, 09:34 PM that is awsome news
Vegas Girl 09-12-2007, 07:55 PM Joyce and Priscilla were appearing at a show in town a couple weeks ago. Was surprised to read that they charge for autographs....how much? Are they that poor? Seems tacky, IMO.

I believe that she charges between $20-$25 dollars a picture. At least that is what they charge for an autograph picture on Joyce DeWitt website www.joycedewitt.com. No I don't think that she's poor but I guess that they have to charge for expenses. A lot of stars charges for Autograph pictures. Joyce isn't the only one. :)
comedyfreak 09-13-2007, 05:39 AM On the Hollywood Collectors Show bottom page it states that all the celebrity guests charge a fee for their autographs, so it's not just Joyce.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the information. :)
Fleet 10-07-2007, 12:19 AM A very good autograph show today!
I drove over and got there about 1:00 PM and of course looked right away for the "Three's Company" table. I found it fairly easy. There were people in line to get autographs from both Joyce and Priscilla, but not a huge crowd. Actually, the line to see Joyce was a little longer last time (Oct., 2004) but today I noticed that there was less "free" time in between. Free time meaning when I could talk to Joyce without holding up the line.
Saturdays usually are the busiest; I plan to go tomorrow and it should not be as crowded.
I teased Joyce and asked how old she is now... "about 35?" I don't think she understood I was joking because she answered that she is "pushing 60." (She is 58 years old, btw.)
I also asked her if she knows how to cook yet. She kind of looked down (embarrassed) and said no and said something like it's too late for this life for her to do it. I said that it's not too hard to do and that I know how to.
Anyway, I had my digital camera with me this time (last time I had a 35 mm camera) and took advantage of the fact that the memory card can hold hundreds of photos. I think I took over 20 pics.
Here are some to start with.
The first two show Joyce signing an autograph and the next two show both Joyce and Priscilla standing up preparing to pose for a photo. They didn't know that I took most of these photos (sometimes, you have to be sneaky!). Technically, it's pay for a signed photo and you can take a pic. But one is not enough for me- especially with Joyce.
I gave Joyce a printout of her photo in her yearbook. It is from a thread on this site. She was so pleased to get it that she didn't charge me for the photo I selected for her to sign. (I will post the photo later.)
So it was great to see both of them today and I will be there tomorrow, with camera in hand!
Fleet 10-07-2007, 12:33 AM Here are four more photos.
Joyce is standing up in all of them. Priscilla is standing in the first two, and at her "nurse's station" (signing pics) in the last two...

Thanks for posting the pictures. They both look very good. Joyce doesn't look 58. :)
I Love John Ritter 10-07-2007, 03:23 AM That's so cool! Thanks for sharing. I'd really like to meet them someday.
Fleet 10-07-2007, 04:35 AM Yeah, she does look good in person. And thin, too. Look at those shots of her standing sideway- not fat at all! Neither is Priscilla.
When I got to the front of Joyce's line (the first time), Priscilla said she needed a bathroom break. Joyce was going to wait until she got back. But an assistant showed up so Joyce left, too. They were both gone for about 5 minutes so I got these shots of Joyce's autograph table. I do plan to take some close-up shots of Priscilla when I go back later today.
sunshinefizzy 10-07-2007, 08:35 AM Yeah, Joyce got really thin. It looks like she doesn't have a butt anymore!
Is it just me or did Lana Sheilds do her hair that morning? That was not an insult because she does look great and so does Joyce. But to me she looks alot like Ann in those shots.
catlover79 10-07-2007, 11:15 AM Fleet - thanks for posting those pics. They're awesome! :D
Fleet 10-08-2007, 12:14 AM A photo of Joyce and I posing.
Don't worry; I was holding on tight to her. Wouldn't want to let her go too soon. :D
Last time (Oct., 2004) I was dressed casual... I guess living in Southern California does that to people.
This time I thought I would dress up a little, so I had on slacks a dress shirt and a nice coat.
I Love John Ritter 10-08-2007, 12:22 AM So cool that you got to meet Joyce again! How many times has is been now?
Fleet 10-08-2007, 02:24 AM So cool that you got to meet Joyce again! How many times has is been now?
Let's see... this would be the second show, but four different days I've seen and talked to her... two days in Oct., 2004 and two days this year.
I hope she will be at this show again; something tells me she will. :)
comedyfreak 10-08-2007, 04:21 AM Fleet-Wasn't it an awesome show, the ladies were like their characters. They were so sweet to their fans you didn't feel rushed. They both signed the picture and my season 8 dvd, plus posed for pics. I got their Saturday around 11:30 or closer to noon because of the idiotic cab driver. I also liked Priscilla in her Nurse uniform. I'll post my pics when I get them developed. I didn't see ya there I was there Saturday til 2pm then I went sight seeing in Hollywood along the walk of fame.

Yes, perhaps the best thing about this show is that you can take your time and actually talk to the celeb. Unlike some book signings I've been to.
Right, clever of Priscilla to wear a nurse's uniform. It was like she just stepped out of a Three's Company episode!
I was there about 12:45 to 2:00 PM on Saturday and 1:30 to 2:45 on Sunday.
janet42 10-08-2007, 10:17 PM Fleet thanks for sharing your pictures with us they turned out really good. That picture of you and Joyce together was really good. Joyce and Priscilla both looked pretty good. I'm glad that you had fun. :)

They were both gracious, friendly, and down to earth. After I bought the photo and they both signed it, Priscilla asked me if I'd like a condom for the photo LOL. Then she said I'm a nurse and she put the photo in the plastic protector. It was great!
IloveJack 10-11-2007, 09:11 PM Guys, thank you so much for posting pics! I've been looking forward to seeing some pics from the ones who were lucky enough to go. I really wish that I get an opportunity to go and meet them since I'm such a huge fan of 3s Co. Hopefully if they do it next year I'll be there! Thanks again for posting the pics...the ladies look as great as usual.
Fleet 10-13-2007, 04:01 AM Here are more photos I took. They didn't know I took these. ;)
And there are even more after this. :)
comedyfreak 10-13-2007, 05:33 AM I wish I could have taken more, I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to say, LOL. They were the best ones there along with Debbie Reynolds. I was going to take a pic of the room, the lady from One Life To Live and STar Trek put up her hands over her face when she seen my camera.
Fleet 10-13-2007, 03:45 PM I just noticed that Priscilla is left handed.
Anyway, I will add more photos later today. :)
Scoobiedoo30 10-13-2007, 03:46 PM I nervery knew that
comedyfreak 10-18-2007, 07:46 AM They both looked like they were having a blast, LOL.
LizaDaisy 10-19-2007, 06:51 PM Comedy Freak & Fleet thank you SO much for sharing your pics with us. Love them. Hey Fleet are you going to frame and hang the pic of you & "your lady" Joyce together in your house? Lol. C.F. did you take a pic with Joyce? I still can not believe she is 58, she looks like maybe 48. How old is P.B.?
Big3sCompanyFan 10-26-2007, 04:53 AM How much was the admission to get in that collectors show to meet Priscilla and Joyce? Did both of the make quite a lot signing a lot of stuff? Were they both paid for their appearances in a lump sum or did they get paid for items they sold and autographed?
Heidi Dawn 10-26-2007, 01:41 PM Priscilla Barnes turns 52 on December 7.
Scoobiedoo30 10-26-2007, 01:45 PM she looks good for 52
vtunie 10-26-2007, 02:56 PM The autograph shows are great for the fans who can get to them. But you'd think it must be bittersweet for the actresses. Surely they would rather get good roles rather than selling photos and signatures, smiling and hugging strangers... Then again, who knows.
Still I do want to thank these two in particular for so much entertainment and joy over the decades.
comedyfreak 11-01-2007, 08:09 AM Liza and Big- I did have my pic taken with both ladies, they were extrememely down to earth. PB signed nude pics a fan gaver her to sign, she didn't seem to care. JD told PB that it was my first time there and Joyce asked me isn't overwhelming? They both signed my TC season 8 dvd too. The Collector's Show charged 25 dollars for two days however, it was free if you stayed at the Hotel which I did.
tanquant 11-02-2007, 12:23 PM Those pictures are great! I would love to go to something like that one day. Nothing like that ever comes to North carolina. JD and PB look amazing.
janet42 11-07-2007, 12:40 AM Comedyfreak thank you for sharing your pictures too. They were really good I am glad that you had fun and that Joyce and Priscilla were really nice to their fans. That trip will be something that Fleet and you won't forget and will always remember. :)
comedyfreak 11-07-2007, 06:33 AM Yeah, it really was special. Now I truely know how Lucy Ricardo felt when whe met the celebritys, LOL. I was so nervous when I had my pic taken with Debbie Reynolds.
zerces 11-13-2007, 07:33 PM Here are four more photos.
Joyce is standing up in all of them. Priscilla is standing in the first two, and at her "nurse's station" (signing pics) in the last two...
There's a fun back story to this group of photos--Joyce did a brilliant voice-over for an animated version of "Medea" that I'm making, and in the second photo, she's holding the actual puppet that's being used in the film! I'm the guy in the striped shirt, and you can see the top of "Medea's" head and her arm sticking out from my shoulder. The film, "Walpurgis Night," will have Joyce providing the voice for several classic characters. It was a very special moment, introducing Joyce to her animated "alter ego"--I'm glad someone captured it on film! Great pics, Fleet, thank you for sharing them! Zach
Janet Tripper 11-21-2007, 02:45 AM Hey guys! Great pix!! Joyce looks beautiful like always!!! She does look thin too! :)! I am so glad you'll got to go and met PB and Joyce!!! :)
Fleet 11-25-2007, 11:33 PM I still have more pics to post. I've been kind of lazy moving them from my camera to my computer and downsizing them. :o
But I'll post more soon!
Fleet 11-25-2007, 11:35 PM Comedy Freak & Fleet thank you SO much for sharing your pics with us. Love them. I still can not believe she is 58, she looks like maybe 48. How old is P.B.?
I actually didn't think of framing and hanging the pic of Joyce and I. I guess I really should.
Priscilla will be 52 on Dec. 7 (Pearl Harbor Day).
Janet Tripper 11-26-2007, 01:06 AM Thanks for the pix Fleet!!! When I get to updating my site may I use them to put them under the fan section?! Thanks!
Fleet 11-26-2007, 05:02 PM Thanks for the pix Fleet!!! When I get to updating my site may I use them to put them under the fan section?! Thanks!
